| Watford
Final week of the season! Watford have made a mountain out of a mole hill with there form of recent, fans have blamed the manager and rightly so….. Last week, the manager made a rookie error when it came to Stamina and cost his team a chance to wrap up the league prior to the final game of the season.
This week’s game is away to Aston Villa, with the manager sticking with the line-up from the previous match with hope a little extra REST periods during the training schedule will allow the players to be a little fresher. The manager must ensure a least a point is obtained, as a defeat and a combined total of 10 goals between the Watford and Charlton game would send the title to the Addicks… Surely not? Can Abrahams inflict the damage on his previous team? Surely, he has a point to prove against the team that let him go….
As for admin work this week, a couple of players leave on loan and the sports bar monopoly continues with aim to have 20 Indestruct sport bars by start of next season to help generate maximum fans to share in the glory! Also, season tickets are being established across the clubs ahead of the new season to generate money in the offseason for any last minute purchases…
Genk
Genk have left all in their wake this season which such composed performances right through out the season, leaving the manager reluctant to change a winning… reluctant, doesn’t mean he wouldn’t ha! New signing “King” Mahrez makes his debut to give the team a bit more of a natural feel, coming it at RH where he can be so deadly and effective cutting in and those overlapping runs.. Eriksen makes his way to the Vacant TM position having been a stop gap at RH, but he had a heart to heart with the manager and expressed while willing to do what’s needed for the team, he would be more effective in the middle, orchestrating the attacks. With Mahrez, Hlozek and De Ketelare all able to play TM Eriksen will have to be on his A game to ensure he keeps his starting slot.
Genk continue to invest in the infrastructure with Basic Gym and Highlights screen being built a long with other buildings to help improve the atmosphere at the newly capped 120,000 stadium, which will secure the future of the club for generations to come!
The squad will say farewell to Milinkovic-Savic who is moving to Germany to help build a new Dynasty at Leverkusen and vacant the middle of the park for the returning Eduardo Camavinga who has developed at a sensational rate. The new look Genk have 3 18-year olds in the Squad! Hlozek, Camavinga and Gravenberch... The future looks bright!
Leverkusen
Leverkusen are nearly set for the new season, with just a few minor gaps within the squads the manager will look to recruit over the next few weeks to challenge as best he can in the German topflight! Manager is bringing in Hastlenberg and Robin Gosens this week to add a couple more Germans to the squad and try to reduce the 12345 different nationalities in the first 11! Bonucci comes in for the departed Alvarez which is the only change to the first 11, trying to ensure the player get themselves bedded in as quickly as there will be no easy games next season, but the manager will be focused on helping Lewandowski to the golden boot next season.
The manager has secured Promotion and the top spot, but not going to go easy on the last day of the season and will be looking to take all the points!
Botafogo
A bit of a shake up at Botafogo! 4 Debuts this week… Claudio Bravo between the sticks to add some vital experience, Domilson Dodo takes over from Yan Couto who has been playing well but still got time to develop and refine his game. Felipe de Almeida comes in at CB to take over from Cesar Montes and Neymar joins the attack! Has big shoes to fill as Mahrez scored 32 goals this season before moving on. Tete finally breaks into the first 11 at RH after some sublime performances. Lucas moves to LH to add some balance to the attack. The club is well on with its stadium expansion, 10,000 seats added last week, a further 15,000 being built this week.
As for the league game the fans are optimistic to see the new lineup, but are realistic giving limited time playing together and lack of friendlies to gel together. |

| Chelsea
Chelsea welcome Plymouth for the last game of the season in what is effectively an end of season kick about , Chelsea will be hoping to score a goal this week after a dry spell at the club , New signing Batshuayi makes the bench but Kovacic will watch his new team mates from the stands.
The builders are busy upgrading for the new season and a couple of players will be leaving on loan for Bate in Belarus.
Emelec
Big game in Emelec , a win will secure the title for Emelec who are currently top with a superior goal difference, some equipment is being installed at the training centre after a few players complained it was not up to their standards.
Bate
First week in charge of at Bate with a lot of work to be done , Tomori and Castagne are coming in on loan and the manager is hoping the added quality will boost that of the players around them. a new training centre is being built to help players realise their potential. The manager is also hiring an assistant manager help with the workload along with other staff.
The future will hopefully see the stadium expanded as current capacity of just over 13,000 is not enough to generate sufficient income
Good Luck to everyone this week |

| Barcelona The end of a decent season for the Blaugrana. A hat-trick of League titles and success in the Copa del Rey to add to the trophy cabinet. In the manager's eyes this season's biggest success has been the emergence of Fati, Pedri and Eric Garcia as regulars in the first 18. This week sees already relegated Sociedad visit the Camp Nou and the home team keep an unchanged squad for the third game in a row. In transfer news, club legend Sergi Roberto is leaving to go to feeder club Nacional in Uruguay. Fans will wish Sergi well but also be excited to see young midfielder Dani Olmo moving in the opposite direction.
Nacional A game with a lot riding on it faces Nacional this week!! A win and a clean sheet will give the Bolsilludo a 100% season but also no goals conceded in the League. This is certainly a first for the manager who has been in the game for several years. Standing in the way are 9th placed Miramar. In team news, Nicolas Lodeiro starts at PM and new ST Gerard Moreno is on the bench. The biggest transfer news at The Park Central is the arrival of young Argentine star, Nicolas Dominguez, to add energy in the midfield. Sergi Roberto brings experience and will add to the Spanish contingent at the club.
Hannover The club is still in a state of shock over the unexpected and epic cup run which saw them fall at the final hurdle to the star studded galacticos of Schalke, who were deserved double winners in Germany. The team and manager have learnt a lot from the experience and intend to use this knowledge in next season's promotion push. A squad overhaul is already underway with several fringe players either going on loan or being sold. The manager is still on the lookout for experienced fullbacks and also has his eye on the 'Cookstown Cafu' as a potential utility option. Kaiserslautern are the visitors in the season's final game and the fit again Yusuf Poulsen takes his place up front alongside on loan Alexander Isak in what looks like a very tall, strong and pacy attack .... possibly some clues as to how they'll play next season.
Akranes A maiden League win felt like an underachievement for the Akranes faithful who hope to push for a domestic double next season. Work is clearly needed across the squad to support the exciting attacking duo of Daka and En-Nesyri. Infrastructure is also key and the Lego sponsored Akranesvollur will need expansion if the club are to achieve their aims going forward. This week sees 18 year old youngster Isak Johannesson make his move to secure a starting spot in midfield for next season. Having already established himself as a full international surely this next step to regular first team football is well within his grasp. Time will tell .......
Good luck everyone and roll on next season!! |
