How disappointing was that? Hodgson needs to resign. Not wait to get sacked. Truly awful. I love England and always want them to do well and that was simply one of the worst performances I've seen. And that from a Northern Ireland fan!

I recently said the same.  In terms of overall performance, individually, collectively and tactically one of the worst I've ever seen.

Hodgson has to go, he needs to take a lot of responsibility for this defeat.

Congrats to Iceland, they deserved it. 

Just don't understand how five yard passes and simple control became so difficult for players who have been outstanding all season in one of the top leagues in the world.  Shocking.

I swear to god, I was seriously considering NOT watching the second half!

Jesus, that was dire! Hart - overrated, always thought so. When you've got someone like Fraser, why the hell is he not playing - especially after the Wales howler?

Well, another generation of young english players that are now scarred for life.

This is taking Brexit a bit too far.....and I voted remain!

Hart, Rooney, Kane were amongst the worst offenders but that was a true team performance. They all had a part in it. Rashford was the only one who showed a spark ..... for six minutes or so.

Bang on. Rashford, and I'd add Vardy, were the only ones to give some urgency and fight.

I'd add, that Iceland are a really good TEAM - tough to break down and thoroughly deserved the win.

On the plus side, I had a bet on and won. Layed the draw - but not the way round that I expected...

To be fair to Iceland, made out to be a team of lollipop ladies, have actually finished above Turkey and Holland in qualifying too.  Definitely a win for team ethic today.  Iceland and Italy.
