looks to me like my best chance of success is playing with 2 am's in this formation then.

Paul....if i switched to mixed for away games how would that effect my players tactical understanding? are mixed, att and def still all superb default TU? and can wing backs work in mixed? obviously i dont want to change positions about much as that will effect things quite drastically, but im wondering if i switched to mixed away from home if that might improve my chances and maybe just switch one of the pm's to dy perhaps when i'm away?

this seems to work a bit better on the bigger pitch and is an interesting tactical system that works pretty well actually even though its not immediately obvious what will happen, so I'll call this one a triumph for Gaz over my expectations, nice one Gaz.

I'm a tactical genius you see , My theory was to play same formation as my Chelsea team but i don't have any wide players at Sampdoria so i just left the DY'S as they were instead, Quite happy it seems to work.

havent done any testing yet but I can give it a go once ive decided on the new field of play, it sounds reasonable though unless people think otherwise, havent seen many comments on it yet. maybe put it in a new thread for later ?
