| Think the FA have created themselves a real problem here. They cannot go into the Euros without a permanent manager, yet all the decent candidates have top jobs until the summer.
Harry for me is the overwhelming favourite, but he is very unlikely to leave Spurs, especially before the season end. Same with Mourinho, Pardew and Wenger.
Out of the leading candidates left, Hodgson couldn't even handle Liverpool, let alone England.
So that leaves Pearce. Simple solution? Yes man? Caretaker until after the Euros?
Or have the FA got the balls to go after someone half decent. And who in their right mind would take it?
Is Sven still out of a job? |

| read a couple of threads on various websites and Curbishlys name is seemingly being banded about.
quite chummy with the FA by all accounts.
my shout goes to Pearce, theyve been grooming him for long enough for something and he could have been the one to take it after the euros, so i say give him a shout now, if he fails then were no worse off and we move on, if he does well then jobs his.
not saying he's any more qualified than the others but i think he'll command the respect required, do worry about him tactically mind, i hope he has some ideas that are his own |

not that i want to see hodgson in the job, i just think he'll get it. say what? as my father always told me... I may not always be right, but i'm never wrong. Ray Wilkins should have been given the job imo. the guy is huge. everybody loves him too. he should atleast be on the backroom staff but i guess old flat face will have other ideas. why does hodgson always look on the tv like someone has trampled on his face actually. he says his R's as wubble-you's aswell. |
