we're a big club and we're embarrassed because....

#1 - Boavista

....we're in the third division with barely a professional player to speak of, with a ground this nice:

....and we won the portuguese title not even 10 years ago.

#2 - Arsenal

...because we have the most expensive tickets in the country,still manage to fill the ground every week despite catastrohpic defensive performances, havn't won a single major trophy since we moved to our new ground (which was supposed to be the catalyst for further glory) and probably wont even qualify for the europa league next season.

#3 - Queens Park

not a big club now but they used to be....well, until the glasgow giants flexed their muscles at the turn of the 20th century. they are the worst football club in the world playing in a big stadium - they are the only amateur side in world football playing in a +50,000 capacity. they are also the only totally amateur side playing in Scotland, yet still manage to consistently promote to the third level among semi-professional and professional sides. they are, hisitorically, the oldest club in Scotland. the club trains just one day a week.

just shows what you can achieve in scotland without even trying.......
