| Didn't Rich get Pav from Spurs in the first place?
Not sure how and why the reality clubs are exempt from the new rules? |

| yep he did.
i just want to seet them sign decent players so at least if we get beat by them theres a plausable reason and u can just say u were beaten by a better side. |

| I've thought about sending the squad on holiday but does anyone know if this affects your players' skills? Don't want to have to train all my players up again! |

| just looked and this is quite interesting.
i said above that i have had a pretty good chance to converstion strike rate, this is for league games where i play winghalves in either a MIXED or WHV tactic
However in the cup this year i decided to experiment a little and iv been playing with wingers since the first round.
i play FLY with my cup side where everything ultimately goes through my TM then out to my wingers.
now this week against celtic i made 8 chances, 7 on target, 6 were saved and i only scored one.
which isnt in keeping with my league converstion rate and more with what others have been talking about.
As i said its been the case in mearly all my games this season, win loose or draw.
i never creat masses of chances but when i do i seem to take them, im in no doubt that this is more down to the tactic than the personel involved.
just my opinion but theres some food for thought there ladies. |

Reduces skills a bit, but not quite as much as pre-season does. As far as I'm aware. |

it wont effect the skills of players as long as they are playing in one of your teams that week i.e first XI, reserves and youths. players who dont play any football will lose 50-75% of their skills (pre-season levels). basically, the same rule which applies to the rest command, the only difference being that you get a +morale boost, whereas resting a player has a negative effect on morale, and even more so if you dont play them that week! holiday is better than rest. holiday training camp is the best one rather than just a holiday btw. |

i think so. it had to happen though. TM's were just rediculously untouchable, u could have played 3 or 4 players in the middle of the park to try and stifle them but they still would come out with a hat trick and a match rating of 50 + i dont know if anyone else has noticed any other changes good or bad with other positions , i play with an AM and PM a lot of the time and theyre ratings and argubly theyre influence (points score) especially the AM has been noticeably less. |

| well....josue (am) was doing amazing for me before this turn, though thats possibly cos i now play a PM infront of him whereas before it was a TM so he had a bigger influence in the middle of the park. my AM got an 8 and PM got a 17 this week which is pretty good i think, though a couple of weeks back josue was consitently getting 30+ ratings. TM is definitely much less effective, though i never had one score a hat trick, but they would consistently get 40+ ratings. i think paul has tried to make things more balanced, because previously DY's would often barely never touch the ball and wide players sometimes aswell. saying that....de rossi scored twice this week and still only got a rating of 10 so i feel paul could still do with tweaking the DY points scoring to be honest as de rossi was way more influential than just a rating of 10. also, full backs are actually appearing on the match reports now whereas before they would never get mentioned, or atleast rarely, so thats good to see.
goalkeepers need to start catching things though and i think it'd be good if we could all make some sort of comment on our turns to see if paul can increase their effectiveness and ability to actually make saves(!). buffon has made about two saves in 10 games which is a bit silly really....everything else is either not on target or.....back of the net |

| my am pm was the same stu,
nothing to get upset about at all before Tiago would be getting 30+ and PM about 17 +
this week they both played well but AM got 5 and pm 17 or something.
sensible scores basically.
good to see. |

| I have noticed an improvement in the effectiveness of DYs too.
Most of my goals and high scores now come from my DYs as oppose to my TM, which always used to happen.
The majority of my goals are coming from midfield and hardly any from my forward players.
Probably because my strikers are crap though!!

Shevchenko hasn't done himself any favours either, scoring against Man City last night. |

| whatever you do, dont send them on a beach holiday...i.e magaluf, playas de amercias....make sure you do your homework and find a proper overseas training base like rich used otherwise your players will just come back with a tan and no skills. |
