| Stu, Bohemians lose or draw to utter crap every week cos they have a shit manager. You can't blame the players at the managers disposal.
Although it is somewhat dis-spiriting to see players like John Hartson, Leon Best and Jack Lester banging in goals against the best (by a mile) defence in the league, and one of the top 10 keepers in the game.
Ho hum.........It's only a game! |

| Another win for Inter, although Milan go top on goal difference. So that's a bit of a shame. However it's my best ever start to a League campaign and I've already played Empoli and Juve away from home.
Boca win again so we're now at 5 out of 5. Boca have now won every league game since week 12 of last season. Could be another title on the way. |

| Yup. 3 points off last year's bogey team. Triple what I got from them last season. Actually, given that everyone else at the top battered them, I lost the league last season by dropping 5 points to Genoa. |

| Nothing today I'm afraid. Can't see Paul getting to the PO today either so it looks like weds at the earliest. Extension inevitable. |

| Snow being snow, and the whole country stopping at the first sign of a flake. I'm not going to be getting stressed about it. Shit happens, cant be helped.
May i suggest that we all adopt an 'it gets here, when it gets here' approach?
Cos normally when the turns are late, at least 3 people threaten to quit on the spot unless Paul hand delivers it to them, let's not have it this time around.
naturally, it's a lot easier to be relaxed when you're top of your division. |

I agree though Rich nothing can be done just have to see when it comes.
Its just frustrating after having the last turn so quickly... |

| ive no problems when it cant be helped like this, the only problems i ever have is when its just through sheer lazyness and the blaintant lies we get back on other occasions, or, when we're just not given any kind of reason, so, this time, i'll keep my dummy in my pram |

| TBH getting the last turn early just makes this delay seem longer, surely consistancy is not too much to ask for. I just want to receive my turn on a Saturday. |

| I completely agree that it is the most frustrating thing waiting for a turn to drop with the postman, but we need to be fair to Paul.
With regards communication, he has given us an explanation as to why they are going to be late and they will be posted at the 'beginning of the week or later'. There's not much more he could have told us other than exactly when he posted them, which is a bit unneccesary really, as they will appear sooner rather than later anyway.
It also comes back to the same old argument, that Paul does do this in his own time, so it is completely unreasonable to expect him to drop everything just to get our turns posted. I know some people will say they pay for a service, so they expect better, but it is just the way the game is run, it is reliant on Paul's free time. At the end of the day, if you aren't happy with it then don't play it, nobody is forcing you.
I agree it is frustrating, but we have to be accepting that the game isn't Pauls priority sometimes, which is completely understandable. The only reason it is so frustrating is because we all love the game so much.
The turn will arrive when it arrives, lets not piss Paul off by bombarding him with unnecessary phone calls demanding where our turns are.
My only concern is that there WON'T be a deadline extension now, as one evening with my turn seriously hampers my enjoyment for the game. I know it is frustrating waiting an extra week, but I'd personally rather that than try and turn it around in one night. Having it over a weekend makes a massive difference.
We will soon find out anyway, tomorrow hopefully! |
