| to jeers from fans at the airport of "you're not fit to wear the shirt" and an italian newscaster angrily shouting "you're not fit full stop, you're old and past it, half of you need to retire now".
funny.
couldn't agree more though!
what of france and italy now?
out with the old guard and in with the young blood? both have some great talent ready to break thru. france still don't have any forwards so looks like they're stuck with gignac for a while....oh dear! |

| mate, even my 100 year old great grand mother could have scored that chance gignac had. he's another stephane guivarc'h! maybe even heskey would have scored it too....ok, maybe not...

| France have plenty of extremely high quality young talent coming through in defence and midfield, but I agree with Stuart........Nothing in attack apart from Gael Kakuta and Paul Pogba who are still just kids.
Gignac is what he is, as much in the same way as what I expel from my arse in the privacy of my toilet is what it is. |

| Pogba's a box to box midfielder much like vieira/diary, best young striker they have is Yannis Tafer of Lyon who is a good talent, should be his breakthrough year.
Of course they could always try Mr Benzema up top! |

| Hatem Ben Arfa looked like he was going to be top class, but his bad attitude has slowed him down. Biabiany looks decent. Im sure Fergie can do something with Obertan. Gueye will be a top player if he can stop getting injured. |

| i got the impression he along with the other strikers were feeding off absolute scrabs due to Diaby and Toulalan's inability to get hold of the ball for a sustained period of time and Riberys absolute dire service from the wing, forget who was on the other side for them as whoever it was contributed even less.
lets be honest France were a joke b4 they arrived to the world cup.
Theyre qualification was shoddy and contraversial
Domaneque tacitically is a joke and because of it carries no repect with the players, a situation amplified by the decision that he is to be sacked whever they won the world cup or not (they even named his successor)
to top it off theyre are so many egos or players with chips on theyre shoulders the likes of Gallas, Henry and evra.(striking at a world cup do me a favour) |

| the french are socialist unionists. it should be expected....but maybe not from 100k a week players!
italy have the same issues as france. the euro qualifiers will be interesting...italy have serbia, northern ireland and slovenia to contend with (no mugs their) while france have the prospect of romania and bosnia - a side rising in credibility - and also belarus who can cause a shock on their day, just ask the dutch!
our group is by far the hardest....i cant even see a shit team in it. all the other groups of 6 have two no hopers in it and our group of 5 has none. i dont get these rankings. i can only assume montenegro are classed as a lower rank side, even though they've only been playing international football for two years...they should have been placed higher in the order really as they're easily as good as a side like northern ireland.

| The French should look closely at young Jordan Ayew otherwise if he develops to his potential he will end up playing for Ghana like his brother Andre who has had a brilliant world cup. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jordan_Ayew |
