| Well Plymouth seemingly shoot themselves in the foot again having been cruising their game 2-0, but seems as though with some consistency and a solid tactic there is something to build on there - especially as shifted tactic again and bought in Dias on debut with limited Team understanding! Very much going to be one of those seasons.
Twente and Atletico win again which is great to see but another draw in Argentina a concern. |

| Frustrating and disappointing set of results this week, not sure I will ever understand this game. To go from the kamikaze football of the first few weeks to now not scoring at all (but also not conceding) with minimal changes is just bizarre.
Wolfsburg the only team to lose in the end but Schalke was always going to be difficult, good week for them with other challengers losing too. Think that leaves Wolfsburg level second behind Bayern by a point but having already played Schalke, Leverkusen and Hannover isn't such a bad start.
Charlton struggling to find form but again a lot of strange results this week mean they aren't too far away I think....
Nantes drop points against a team they really should be beating, losing ground to a relentless Etienne.
Fluminense winning eventually to keep up the pressure on Santos and Botafogo but need to stop going behind or it will catch up with us sooner or later.
Certainly will be an interesting read to see what went wrong this week! |

| I've had worse weeks ...Good win for Chelsea against Arsenal and a win for Bate as well as a 0-0 draw for Braga against Benfica (didn't see any score updates) which is a great result. |

| New tactic appears to be working well - always knew it was more suited to my players.
Trouble is, there's not much room for 'tinkering', which means the manager will be getting itchy fingers, and is bound to muck it up eventually!
Super-chuffed with a win away against high-flying Wolfsburg! |

| Premiership
Watford 11 +5 Villa 10 +3 Chelsea 10 +3 Man City 9 +3
Watford and Man City remain unbeaten as the Hornets power their way to the top of the table to displace the Champions. Julian Alvarez scored on his debut for the Champions but it wasn't enough to grab all three points. Villa moved up into second with Rabiot inspiational in the middle of the park and Chelsea sit menacingly just a point off the top. Some unexpected results so far this season could make this title race the most open in a long time... |

| Bundesliga
Bayern 11 +7 Wolfsburg 10 +5 Schalke 10 +3 Stuttgart 10 +0
Bayern Munich hit the top this week following a late victory over Leverkusen where a Gomez goal five minutes from time took all three points following an exciting end to end game. Champions Wolfsburg slipped at home to Schalke as Kilian MBappe slipped in the winner for the star studded side from Gelsenkirken and Stuttgart keep up their great start to the campaign. Should be another tense but exciting season here in Germany... |

| Seria A
Inter Milan 13 +6 AC Milan 12 +11 Champions Napoli 11 +9 Cagliari 9 -1
Inter take over at the top after demolishing AC infront of a packed stadium again the star of the show was the ageless Kramaric for Inter. Napoli were a bit lucky to come away from Bologna with all three points and Cagliari showed some much improved performances to beat a very decent Fiorentina side. And a mention for Lazio, back in fifth and under new management and using a new tactic, watch out, as they grabbed eight goals at Ancona with Belotti grabbing a hatrick... |

| Primera Liga
Barcelona 13 +10 Champions Read Madrid 12 +7 Atletico 12 +2 Santander 10 +4
Two dropped points away at Celta Vigo was not good enough for Barca despite dominating the game they could not score and that has allowed arch rivals Real and Atletico to move a step closer. Real thumped Sevilla who are now starting to suffer with their boss still absent with reallife whilst Atletico had a routine home win over Sociedad. Next week will be interesting for sure... |

Quick question on changes Paul - whilst you mention things – do enforced changes - injuries/suspensions impact continuity - presuming yes? |

| Le Championnat
Etienne 13 +12 Nantes 11 +9 Champions Paris 11 +8 Toulouse 10 +7 Bordeuax 10 +3
A Paulo Ganso hatrick saw Etienne demolish Lille allowing the Parisien side to stay at the top of the table ahead of close rivals Nantes and paris St Germain. Nantes dominated the chances away at Nice but didnt find the brealthrough whilst Paris made easy work of Auxerre at home. Unfancied Toulouse moved up into fourth and are "looking to make an impact" according to their boss... |

Quick question on changes Paul - whilst you mention things – do enforced changes - injuries/suspensions impact continuity - presuming yes? This is where you have to balance your teams aggression because enforced changes can disrupt partnerships which are crucial at the top level when a lot of players are on skill level nine. |

Good to know, is there a list of which players can gain partnerships as besides my back four the other players don't seem to be connecting at all? I appreciate it may be to do with certain positions etc but surely there should be some partnerships for example with AMPM or RWLWCF? |

Thanks Paul! I think I was only on 5 - I’ll have to have a word with Caicedo! |
