Season 34 Week 5 processing...

Welcome to Week 5 the first of our International weeks.

No orders from Sevilla.

Reset is finished and data entry is underway...

Unfortunately we lost Dave Brothers this week who had been playing since May 1996 which was a shame but Aston Villa Lazio and Lille have all been assigned new managers. Marty Patterson, himself a big Villa fan takes over at Villa Park was previously at Walsall. Pete Walters returns to the game at Lazio and he had a long spell at Botafogo before Phil took them over and like Dave has been playing since 1996. I've sent Lille to Lennard Wolf to see if he is interested in returning to the game, was previoously at Lille but had to dropout due to his job, fingers crossed he can now return. Consett are now unmanaged although Dave has some unused credit so I left his 'shadow' in charge until the credit runs out.  Deals with Consett can be arranged through me. Thanks.

Sad to hear about Dave - had started building some great sides! Hopefully the new managers can start to fill his boots!

Friendly games have kicked off. League games are scheduled for 1000 Wednesday morning as normal...

WATFORD 

After back to back 5-4 wins the manager will be hoping the team can control the ball a little better. However, a win is a win! The side have managed to pull themselves through important results. This week is the very own Hands Hemmings looking to slow Watford down. The manager will be looking to Smith-Rowe and Barnes again from the bench who came on last week and turned the game around... Onana at BW will have a really test trying to break up the PMP2 combo. Manager still looking to be impressed with his displayed yet.... 

GENK

Genk showing signs of stumbling again? A poor showing Infront of goal ment the side had to settle for a draw last week. However, can make amends this week with league leaders Mechelen the opponent's. Manager looks to be fired up and in an inspiring mood for his team to go out and display there champion credentials. Otherwise the team will be doing extra training on Sundays to get sorted! 

LEVERKUSEN 

Leverkusen managed to get there first win of the season last week. A welcome result for the manager who was feeling the pressure. With the manager looking to employ similar substitutions should things not pan out... However, will Baumgartner and Olmo have the same impact? Got to aim to squeeze all the quality out of the side if you catch up to the leaders. 

BOTAFOGO

Manager looks to being in a new Brazilian midfielder which aims to give better rotation options in the middle of the park before a change at RB this week which sees another Brazilian international join the side. Can the manager avoid making to many changes and avoiding the disruption.....

Two very big wins for my brazilian sides against some very good opposition.  Was worried how they'd get on as a change of tactic from last season was taking time to implement, the friendly results were mixed at best.

Delighted with these two results though.
