Reset was completed yesterday and data entry has started...

Glad to see i'm not the only one who gets in early! ha 

Usually, I'm ready to send in my turn about 2 hours after I get it back, but I resist the urge in case a dealing comes along!

Plus I've only got 1 team....

Data entry has now finished and the friendly games have kicked off...

Watford;

A shaky start to the beginning of the season for the Champions, with the team jetting off to Toyoko to play the World Club Cup and then Charity shield and an Away game the manager decided to give the team a little breather this week in training. However, that doesn't mean the manager expects less intensity in this weeks home game to West Ham. Watford will be without the injured Pogba and Kevin De Bruyne... which is a massive blow to the team, but you've got to use your squad in situations like this. So in come's Bale and Barkley with Wan-Bissaka making his league debut after joining. All 3 points are a must after a slow start last week.

Champions Cup - Will see Watford host Milan, which is less then ideal after injuries and further rotations needed, Jonny Otto comes in at LB and Sturridge leads the line in place of Kane. Also, Phil Jones come in at CB to give Maguire a rest. Hopefully can make the home advantage count with so many rotations this week. With instructions from the manager should things not go to plan, to bring the big guns on!


Genk;

Lierse in the league for Genk, who started the season in OK fashion. Not as tight at the back as last season with Bonucci taking a back seat this season. But hopefully Rudiger and Christensen can make a good partnership, otherwise Beniot Bashidelle might force his way into the managers plans. As for the attacking players, Eriksen adapting to life in belgium well and long may it continue. Should be able to use the new 100,000 capacity stadium to Genks advantage and get the 12th man singing and take all 3 points.

Europa League  - Spurs, at home this week! Fingers crossed this can be the season Genk finally take the glory. However, First must get out of the group. Spurs certainly won't go down without a fight, so it has to be all 3 points in the home games to give a chance of going through to the next rounds!

Leverkusen;

Lucky to come away last week with all 3 points in a very tight game! However, the manager has already started putting his touch on the club. Bringing in Oshimen, El Shaarawy, Nainggolan and Camavinga with hopeful a couple more arrivals in the coming weeks to strengthen the team! Not only that some legendary staff coming in to give the team a boost! This week will see the team revert to the managers favoured CAT system and hopefully will provide more success, however a intimidate impact isn't expected. As the players still need to adjust to the formation. Duisburg stand in the way of all 3 points this week, so hopefully be able to make use of the fresh players and take the points!

European Cup - Zagreb, who lead the line with Nikola Kalinic and Nikola Vlasic. Going to provide very tough opponents and the Leverkusen board were happy the team entered the European Cup to help generate additional income over the coming seasons. However, be interesting to test the team against different oppositions. 

Botafogo;

Injury to the evergreen Dani Alves gives a surprise start to Yan Couto to show the club what can be expected of him in the future! Hopefully his youthful energy can propel the team forward against this weeks extremely tough opponents Santos who surely want to get revenge for last season! Not easy games this season so far! so got to keep pushing forward, 3 points is all that matters!

Copa - Vasco, another extremely tough opening game to the defence of the Copa Libadatores. With the squad also playing 3 games in the previous week. The manager has decided to Rotate the squad a little with Felipe Luiz coming in at LB, Dembele coming in at ST to give Hulk a breather, Bobsin and Tete getting a chance to show they deserve a starting spot in the DL/DR positions. 

Luckily Botafogo have managed to bolster there squad and have a few more options to call on this year.

Delighted with the Cup results, with plenty of rotations the teams did well, with only Genk dropping points but tough opposition do pleased all round. Bring on the league games!!
