| Serie A
Lazio 49 +56 Champions ACMilan 44 +33 Juventus 41 +21
A really tough runin for the leaders, at home to Inter then away at Parma and Juventus, but they have been there before and done it... |

| Scotland
Aberdeen 42 +17 Motherwell 39 +25 Celtic 38 +25 Champions Rangers 35 +19 St Johnstone 33 +24 Hibs 33 +17
Three wins and a draw in their last four games for Motherwell has thrown the pressure heavily onto Aberdeen whose runin includes away games at Raith, Celtic and Dundee, not easy by any stretch of the imagination, if they want it bad enough then they will need to win it the hard way. And just to add more pressure Celtic are poised and capable of pouncing... |

Barcelona 55 +42 Real Betis 44 +42
Champions from last season and Champions again this year, a fine performance as Rob's side continues to dominate Spanish football... |

Is the pressure getting to Watford ? only one win in the last four games and now away trips to Wednesday and Newcastle then a potentially mega game at home to Charlton... No pressure... it will only be the greatest collapse since Newcastle were miles clear of United in the nineties and the tale will be relived forever in Championship football history any time someone opens up a big points gap.... as I say, no pressure |

| Printing has all been sent and the email turns are also all sent. The chap in the post office informed me there will be no Saturday deliveries but that shouldn't affect us much unless you post your orders on thursday or friday before the deadline. Please continue to send orders electronically. thanks. |

| I made a costly mistake on the Fluminense team sheet by leaving out one of their top players by mistake which greatly affected their squad effectiveness and so I had to rerun their game with Corinthians.
Corinthians 2 Fluminense 5
Brazil Botafogo 44 +40 Sao Paulo 43 +24 Santos 39 +24 Fluminense 38 +24 Champions Flamengo 36 +8 |

| Apologies to everybody affected by my crap data entry this week but in my defence its tougher doing it from electronic order sheets cos i'm trying to look between 2 screens all the time instead of concentrating on what is happening on the one screen and a sheet of paper pinned to that screen, but I'm hoping i'll get use to it and make a better job of it from here on...fingers crossed... |

Don't apologise Paul, these things happen. We all just appreciate you are still running the game in these strange times. It acts as a little distraction amidst all the surrounding chaos! |

| Back in week 17 I had to rerun one of the Spanish Cup Quarter-Final games which saw Sevilla progress after the rematch after they had lost the original game. Despite my best efforts back then I totally forgot to swap them back into the competition for the semi-final, so poor Mark didn't even get a scout report or teamsheet for the semi-final, he did however send in his cup selection which I entered, but the system ignored it because of my oversight back in week 17. So to cut a long story short I had to put Sevilla back into the competition and replay their semi-final with Real Madrid.
The result was
Real Madrid 3 Sevilla 0. |
