Watford

Two encounters with Geoff's City this week, after a stutter last week at home to Newcastle. The hornets will be aiming to hit back with a sting! An away trip awaits the league and home for the Cup. However, With 3 away games on the bounce and Charlton keeping up the pressure. It'll be the league the team must focus on first and foremost. With the eager Rashford getting a start in the Cup vying for the league place. Can Bale star and keep his place? With a less then impressive 7 goals this season.. Manager will be keeping a eye on the displays. Injury to Jorginho in the same week as Dier departs for Spurs. Give's way for Rice to step-up to the first team and show he's worth his new contract this week.

Genk

This week the Current Champions can win the league to make it a hat-trick of leagues titles! The fans would love to be able to lift the Trophy and parade it at home next week. However, must clear the Alkmaar shaped hurdle this week. Also a home game for the Genk Galatico's too Liege. Last seasons poor squad management saw Genk knocked out at this stage to Ajax. So the supports would love to progress and potentially claim a double for fans. First, concentrate on the games in front of them though.

Botagofo

Unfortunate not to come away last week with with anything. However, another double header vs Cruzeiro. Fortunately both games are at home so less travelling for the team to do. However, the hard work will needed to be done on the pitch! With back-to-back defeats for the first time this season for Botagofo and dropping top spot at such a crucial time of the season. Anything other then a win in the league will feel like a defeat! For the fan's it'd be great to go through in the cup to tackle another final this season! So it's up to the players to step-up and go for glory! Breakthrough players such as Alvarez and Tete will be relishing the chance to win silverware this season and proving critics wrong.

Player Power brings a big change to the lower divisions...

After being petitioned by some of the lower league sides and carrying out an extensive survey the Championship Football Lower League Organising Committee has taken the much sought after step of cancelling this season's lower league Playoffs and instead the lower leagues will return to a three up three down format. We'll do another survey next season to see how the change worked out and whether managers want it introduced permanently.
