| Championship
Everton 25 +25 Westham 21 +6 ------ Birmingham 19 +14 Man United 19 +11 Tranmere 19 +7 Banstead 18 +4 ------ Fulham 15 +4
It's close at the halfway stage with only three points between sixth and second could still go to anybody with only Everton maybe a shade better than most while Wayne Rooney stays fit. |

Sunderland and Swansea both improving since being taken over by new managers making it far closer than ever before. |

| Conference
Bristol City 29 +30 Wigan 28 +30 Huddersfield 21 +10 unmanaged ------ Grimsby 17 +3 unmanaged
Huddersfield recently lost their long time manager which pretty much hands automatic promotion to the top two, who deserve it, and at rock bottom are Stockport County who llok set to drop into the County leagues next season if things don't improve and why would they unless somebody comes along to save them. |

| Not a bad week..... Lazio and Ruzomberok cruising, while Villa missed an opportunity. Good wins in the internationals too. |

Currently you can have squads of 33 players but you need to find room for them to play each week in one of your teams, the new system will allow you to have 25 players and you dont have to worry about them playing each week. ( Maximum squad size will still be 33 to allow for new signings/loan returns etc ). Does this mean that we don't need to pay WR97 150k to stop them moaning? So long as there are 25 or less in your main squad.... |

Seems I’ve been penalised all season for having too strong personnel in my squad as backups (which is fair enough) but the week I finally managed to get all my squads trimmed down to hopefully maintain some consistency it all changes again?? I don’t understand, it seems every time I adjust my squads to the guidelines something changes. Exacerbated is the only way to describe it. Back to the drawing board with my squads again! Thanks for another weeks entertainment Paul. |

| So, in theory, next season we will be able to have 25 ‘9999’ players and choose to play whomever we want to in different weeks without anyone getting upset or being penalised for? Even if some of those players didn’t play all season?
Why the change of heart? Won’t this make the game a lot more top heavy in favour of the bigger clubs? I’d worry for the smaller clubs and any managers that are coming into the game.
Don’t want this to come across as negative, just feedback on the change. I’m happy to go with whatever is decided and Paul thinks is best for the game. |

I'm already finding it hard to sign players as most of you have great squads and all the other players are holed up at feeder clubs , I pretty much cannot compete unless I sign a good youngster and hope he comes good in a few years..which is a long time to wait and cost me a lot of money |

| Decent week for me all round. Delighted to grab a late win against City. Always tight games between myself and Geoff, we’ve had some battles over the years. City had recently picked up some really good results and form so a victory anyway it comes against my big rivals is always cheered to the rafters. Top manager Geoff. Win means Charlton pull a massive 9 points away from fourth place City in the table and maintain 3 ahead of Villa. Need to keep ahead of the chasing pack but will be tough, hopefully we can hang on until the end of the season! What a job Dave is doing by the way!
Nantes continue to look strong thankfully and another good win.
Fluminense going through a bit of a transition at the minute due to squad adjustments for players attitudes, hopefully the front two can settle quickly and start scoring some goals again. Whalloped this week away at a top team.
International sides both through to the semis, which I’m delighted with, needed results to go my way and they did! Can Brazil finally make that next step in the big games? Is this the mangers last chance to secure the big trophy? |

| I have to say I agree with Gary and Tom. The game doesn't have to mirror real life, with the top clubs hoovering up all the best players. I have problems with player attitude, but that is a part of what makes the game so enjoyable. I know you enjoy the programming Paul, but if it ain't broke, don't fix it. |

If it's based on CR I don't think there are many top real teams with 25 under 30 99 rated players. The world's best teams are Liverpool and City and neither of them can really claim that level. For City - David Silva, Otamendi and Fernandinho are over 30 and Angelino, Zinchenko and probably Foden aren't 99's yet. As for Liverpool - Lallana, Milner and Lovren are over 30 while Origi and some others aren't 99 level. If we had something like 11 at 99 and 11 at 97 CR that would make more sense. |

| For my two-penneth on this topic, I agree with Dave. Nothing wrong with having to juggle your squad to stop players moaning - it's part of the 'joy'.
For instance, I've just put 2 9999s on the transfer market this turn - which I wouldn't need to do if I can have 25 999999s without moaning...
I sort of understand what you're saying about top players not moaning so much now in real life - they are much more accepting of squad rotations...but I think 25 seems like too many... Andy. |

Should state I also like the way it currently is. I’ve built Barcelona on the balanced squad model. |

| Thanks for the feedback.
There were only a couple of you forumites who hadnt moaned at me about the current squad/attitude system we employ so I was under the impression you wanted a better system, but if you're okay with the current system then I will leave it well alone. |
