Birmingham on fire since Fellaini moved up front... Absolutely delighted with this week! Managed 3 wins in the league from my teams! Probably most impressive is Genk 5-0. But extremely important for Fulham to get the 3 points. Means I don't drop into the relegation Zone. How ever a lot of work to do between now and the end of the season! Will be a good read this week! Match report is always better when you win! Sanchez seems to have settled in very nicely which is a bonus. |

| I'm about to start the coaching then before I run all the finances I will add some more of the new players to the database, then run the finances and do the printing, then send out the email turns, which will be later today.
If I don't get time to add all the new players I will add them next turn with priority set on for clubs that tried to new or trial them this week. Hopefully I wont run out of time though. |

Good luck for today! Do you enjoy the adding of players ? I know I certainly love scouring the internet looking for new talent. Problem is once you find one..... Well you end up finding 5. Then you have to weigh up how much potential do they have? What nationality are they? Will they be a worthwhile investment... Trying to get the players in, in the right positions too.. |

| Is there a need for a limit of reviews and news to avoid this happening again?
Say 3 news and 2 reviews? |

Say 3 news and 2 reviews? No, its only rarely that so many of you all try to new or review more than a few players each week. Although there are always a few news after an international break. |

Do you enjoy the adding of players ? Yes always, I like to check them all out so I can give them an accurate profile. I get a bit indifferent to some of the media reports though cos in my experience these twelve year old wonder kids very rarely make it into the professional game let alone become world beaters. |

That is very true... which does lead onto a very interesting topic. Who in your opinion has been the biggest flop or hyped up player that never lived up 2 there potential in the game? Couple from recent years would be... Gai Assulin. Zele Ishmail. Ravel Morrison. Nick Powell. I suppose you could even add Tom cleverly and Jack Rodwell into this. Emmanuel Frimpong... Thoughts anyone? |

| I'll give you one .......... Freddy Adu. The USA's version of Pele. Or Brazil have had a list .....Kerlon and his seal dribble, Alex Pato never lived up to his hype or remember Denilson who Betis paid a world record fee for. Or Lulinha anyone?
My personal biggest disappointment was Javier Saviola who with Pablo Aimar looked like a world beating duo when at River Plate. Literally I thought he was Messi before I ever heard of Messi. He went to Barca among others but never became top class.
Biggest English (based) disappointments ........ agree on Ravel Morrison, Federico Macheda, Francis Jeffers, Gael Kakuta and David Bentley (new Beckham anyone?). Anyone remember Sonny Pike?
A coupe who could go that way unless some saves them Januzaj, Mastour and Odegaard. Although they all have time on their side. |

| Sony Pike was the first case I remember but my biggest disappointment was for a young lad at Santos, there at the same time as Neymar, and his partner in their youth side. I watched him play several times and make loads of chances for Neymar, yet Neymar gets sold for megabucks and goes on to a glittering career and, in my opinion, the better player, Giva, gets a free transfer to Coritiba and has now fallen out of favour and plays for Nautico, such a shame, could have been a true great. But then again I always back the wrong horse cos I usually go for the outsiders |

An ex-CF player ( Orient fan ) informed me recently that he was recently in a London taxi driven by Luke Pike ( Sonny Pike's real name ), when he asked the taxi driver for his autograph the bloke just laughed and charged him double, hopefully the breakdown days are behind him now. |
