| Bundesliga
Schalke 22 +15 Bayern 22 +9 Berlin 19 +14 Hamburg 18 +1 Dortmund 16 +6 Gladbach 12 +1
It seems to me that the chasing sides are all capable of beating each other so giving the top two a slight edge in the long run as we again see Schalke and Bayern leading the table. |

| Eredivisie
Feyenoord 22 +13 PSV 22 +12 Twente 19 +11 Ajax 17 +10 Sittard 17 +7
Never seen Ajax struggle so much as they have done this season, but that wont bother new Feyenoord boss, Ollie Wilson, as his first game in charge sees them go top. |

| Serie A
Juventus 22 +11 Inter 21 +11 Napoli 19 +14 Cagliari 18 +10 Ancona 14 +11 Milan 13 +5 Roma 13 -1 Fiorentina 13 -3
We have a new leader for the first time in a long time in Italy as Paul Jones's Juventus moved above Inter Milan and with Les's Napoli also playing very well we could be in for a very exciting title race this year in Italy. Mustn't discount Wendell's Cagliari either cos he has been in charge almost as long as Rob has been at Inter and he has whispered to me that he wants it bad this season. |

St Johnstone 27 +27 Celtic 18 +7 Inverness 17 +3 Rangers 16 +7
I'm gonna do a Malcolm Allison here and say that my Saints team is good enough to go the whole season unbeaten cos the rest of you just aren't up to it ! ( a bit tongue in cheek but we'll see ). Must kill these Scotsmen that a sassenach like me is beating them. |

Hearts 23 +19 Kilmarnock 19 +5 Dundee 13 +1
There's no doubt that Rob's Hearts team is heading for the Premier Division at the end of the season. |

| Scotland Second
Dunfermline 23 +10 Morton 20 +8 Arbroath 15 +2
Geoff's Morton side doing well since he took over and looking to go up at the first attempt in their long term quest for the top division and a decent squad to compete there. With Hearts and Morton both on improving fast I can see the Premier Division in Scotland soon becoming very competitive. |

| La Liga
Barcelona 21 +18 Real Madrid 20 +7 Valencia 19 +10 Betis 18 +11 reality managed but sent out to another potential new manager Sociedad 17 +3 Bilbao 16 -1
Barcelona's defeat of Real means they now lead the table after 9 games and I'm guessing the drinks will be on Matt ? but a poor week for Valencia saw them miss chance of going second. Betis keep up the pressure on the top three with a much improved season and Sevilla put some daylight between themselves and the relegation places with a stunning win this week. |

Huge week, after a pretty poor season for Barcelona so far. Is this the turning point? Some big European games coming up and hopefully there's still a chance that we can catch the top 2. Very happy with Flamengo. Have even managed to squeeze in some scouting this week so there may be a new or 2 going in this turn. We'll share the beers |

| The big deal this week sees Anthony Martial join Manchester United from Nantes for £90millions just £10million short of the all time world record paid by Plymouth for Mesut Ozil.
United boss Gavin was delighted to get his man and thanked the Nantes boss for agreeing to the deal whilst Tom said he was happy to help out a new manager once he had decided where to spend the windfall.
This deal allows Roman Pavlyuchenko to go on loan to Palace, who are currently deep in debt, and forced to sell a couple of their first team players to try and make up the debt, with recent signings Vossen and Moses set to leave the club. |

Interesting for Villa if those 2 are going on the market. Vossen listed this week at £12m and Moses listed this week at £12m also. Vossen's tribval is £9m whilst Moses is listed at his tribval. Happy bidding. |

| Well another clean sheet for Plymouth but need to start picking up more win away from home if going to start troubling the leaders. Only a 5 point gap though thanks to results going my way - a long way to go though... |

And six goals against QPR was unexpected and welcome.
Pretty good week all round. Thanks. |

Matt's side leaving it late again as the sub looks to have rescued them a point. Too many goals conceded especially when one considers the opposition, must do better. |
