Season 26 Week 9 processing...

Welcome to week 9, the reset has been started and we're underway...

Domestic Cup second rounds to be played this week for those leagues with enough teams...

Always get nervous with these early rounds, need to play some reserves but then don't want to lose to lower league teams, like last year....

Always the second round that throws in some upsets....

No orders this week from Birmingham, Fulham and Real Madrid, everybody else is in...

Data entry finished, friendly games started, will have a better idea of when the league games will kickoff later today...

Domestic Cup games will kickoff first thing wednesday morning, as soon as they are finished I will do the setup for the league games and run the vidiprinter. Cup games usually take about 3 or 4 hours so I would expect the league games to kickoff sometime around noon, but it may be a bit earlier.

Yeah definitely the toughest of the round two games, of course the draw was made before Dave took over and the system does try to keep managed clubs apart in the first two rounds, so just unfortunate really, but a great win for Dave, are things looking up at Tottenham ?

Torres and Robinho.  They have a strong team. He's just very competitive.  I told him it would be tough to get a result. His main aim is promotion this season anyway and so far he's moving in the right direction.

Encouraging result. Lets see what happens in the league. Maybe Spurs CAN avoid relegation 

Always nice to have a cup run, but sometimes if you think you aren't gonna win the whole thing then it does you a favour for the league run-in to have your players fresh.
