Cristiano Ronaldo has left Schalke and moved to Real Madrid with Falcao and £82.5million going in the opposite direction. If you want to try and sign Falcao please remember a player wont leave his club during the first 10 weeks of his contract. Three english clubs will be very disappointed by this but Falcao was the only player offered of a good enough quality to make the swap deal happen. Better luck next time.

Marco Reus also joined Real Madrid for £18millions and a £10million signing on fee.

Looks like Real Madrid mean business.

Just by way of a reminder, and cos I know it can get a bit confusing in the rush for a new player.

Swapbid is a player for player swap only - no cash can be added to the deal, the system calculates the relevant fees involved if the player you offer is good enough.

Bid is a player for cash swap only - and you cant buy players from the top leagues like German Bundesliga.

Openbid is a player for cash and player (s) swap - and these take several weeks for the system to process esp if the team involved has injuries or suspensions.

Some had Swapbids or Bids rejected this week because of this. Where appropriate I also put in an Openbid for you.

Very happy with that, got a cracking group of Centrebacks at Gremio now with Hummels, Marquinhos and Benatia.

Training and finances now, then printing, ready to send out email turns thursday I expect.

Just read my Champions League match report. A real lesson in not coming 2nd in my group. Inter had the better of the game but Real were more clinical. Not a mistake I'll make next season!!!

Go here for a few thoughts I have on the European QFs and SFs.

Great week for my teams, especially Barcelona with away wins at top clubs.  Think 3-0 flattered them against Charlton as the game was very tight.  Flamengo still roaring along, 100% after 14 games can't be sniffed at.

Very worried about Real now they have Messi and Ronaldo to smash the goals in!!
