Season 25 week 14 processing...

Welcome to week 14 of the season.

All the usual turns have arrived safely, plenty to do this week, and with Easter just been and gone, which was a busy time for me, I wasn't here and able to send out the missing euro sheets, apologies for that. This week may take me longer to process than normal as some people have been especially busy with their orders, which is great to see.

Thanks very much for the continued enthusiasm, without you guys this game wouldn't exist.

Quite an intense bidding war building up for all of Schalke's transfer listed players and even a couple of huge bids for Cristiano Ronaldo, including two that come close to breaking the current transfer record of £100millions.

Thought there might be, glad I stayed away from that one.

Anyone know if Iain is still playing the game?  He hasn't been on here since November and doesn't seem to send a turn in much these days.

Quite right, you paid £100million for Ozil, I just checked, although I hadn't realized the system hadnt recorded it properly. Gareth Bale is in at second on £80million and then Dzeko at £78million.

Was tempted to put a bid in for Ronaldo but couldn't justify it for someone over 30, whoever they are.

Iain's still about, he's just grumpy that he's so far behind Barcelona! 

I'm with tom and kept away from Ronaldo, sometimes too many 'superstars' in your squad is not good in this game. Saying that I did  put a couple of bids in this week!

Okay, things have gone quicker than I expected, and this week's turn didn't take me as long as I thought it may do earlier today, so I'm going to say that the league games will kickoff at 1000 hours Wednesday morning, providing I can get all the reserve and youth games run tonight, which I should be able to do.

Just preparing for the league games now. ( 0930 ).

Only one "big" game in the Premiership today and that is at Maine Road where Watford are the visitors, or roving reporter caught up with City boss Geoff 'Laser' Fields yesterday and he had this to say.

"I think it will be very close, last week's game was very close and Watford are a better side than Fulham, no disrespect to Fulham, I think it'll come down to team tactics and whether or not the on form Dzeko can get the better of Kompany. Hopefully it will be a good game. I decided to play Lamps in the league rather than in the Champions cup, that's how highly I rate Watford, wish he was ten years younger".
