Absolutely delighted with both results this week, a draw away at resurgent Man City and a draw away at Lyon.  Both very tough places to go, and difficult to come away with anything, so a point is a great result.

Especially with Phil losing in both countries and Will coming a cropper again.

Massive week next week, with the top four all in action against each other.  Genuinely happy last week to confirm safety in the Premier League, which was the main objective at the start of the season, but to find myself second with four to play is astonishing.   As soon as someone looks like pulling away from the bunch they get sucked in by the chasing pack, a really close competition this year. 

Even Rich @ Birmingham came right back into the mix this week, and will only pick up points on at least two of the top four next week!!

the World Cup Final, much anticipated by me...

the game will be staged at Wembley in front of as locked out full house of 80,000 fans.

Both teams look as though they will be playing the FAP system.

no Ronaldinho for Brazil but Neymar steps into his place.

France at full strength and of course they have been here before.

The teams come out and Uriah Rennie has been given the privilege of refereeing today.

Dede fouls Ribery after the talented frenchmen goes on one of his trademark long dribbles...

but Benzema slides the freekick to Anelka who is robbed and France waste a chance to shoot at goal...

Lloris makes another fine save from Neymar after Robinho was bought down on the edge of the box...

10 minutes gone now...

20 minutes and Neymar dribbles into the box and shoots past Lloris only to see his shot cleared off the line by the keeper's trailing leg...

Ramires thwarted by another fine Lloris save, it's mostly Brazil early doors here...

on 33 minutes from a corner.

Dede saves Brazil with a fine tackle on Nasri...

Nasri is fouled but Benzema again plays the ball square, this time to Debuchy who is robbed...

Ramires makes it

on 43 minutes after a series of corners are not cleared...

France need to up their game here...
