Expected nothing but a win against Blackburn today and after a brief scare was not disappointed, Luis Suarez with another two goals and been superb for me and may well be on to pastures  new in the coming weeks.

Good win for CSKA putting us top which is nice, Probably could be walking the league if I payed bit more attention to them.

You're not kidding, anyone else noticed the player profiles part 2 of 2 sheet? 

Love the changes though Paul, a lot of decisions to be made on players futures!!  Makes sense, a lot of manangers will be struggling to keep everyone happy.  Hopefully the knock-on effect will be players being let go and reality teams getting stronger.


Like it a lot, lot of thinking to do.

the Player Profile sheet 2 is showing an incorrect attitude for players at youth academy, development academy and schoolboy academy actually. Those players are of course under protected attitude.

yeah sorry about that, I wasn't trying to force everybody out of their youngsters that they have in their academies, just the ones that don't play each week and who are not at academies.

this is in line with next season's change to the maximum size of squads. The 25 max will then include under 22 players, whereas this season it doesn't.

Next season Paul, will it stop you buying players if you already have 25 in your squad, or will it be more of a morale issue if you end up with 26,27 etc

it will effect squad effectiveness as it does now, you can still buy as many players as you like.

So the 25 will include those under 22 not in your academy, that correct? You can then have 25 in your main squad then I presume up to 25 in your academy?

I believe you can have 10 in your development academy, 25 in your youth academy and 25 in your school academy, plus your 25 in your first team squad, 85 players should be enough

Deportivo are awful though mate. The irony is that I'm scared witless of coming to your place and going for the draw that is no good to either of us...but if I open up it could end 9-8! Or 15-0! Quite easily. The majority of my players are individually absolutely no match for your guys... But I can't tell them that! Lol 
Crazy as it sounds, if I'd not blown it at Celta Vigo a few weeks ago, a point at your place may have just been enough, but fair play to Matt, turning is both over in consecutive weeks is no mean feat.
