| Thanks Paul for another top effort. I'm in the middle of an intensive 2 week training course at the moment and this has entertained me thru my lunch!!
Very happy to get a result against Betis and if they do get Busquets thats gonna make them an even bigger force for next season. Seems like Yaya Toure done his man marking job well.
A excellent result in the cup away to Valencia, now to get Real in the Semis!! |

| Exciting. Happy with the weeks work. Beating Milan who are 3rd means that it's almost a 2 horse race as they now trail by 10. Ancona still going strong with a great win at Roma. At the end of the day if I'd been offered 6 points ahead with 5 to go at the start of the season I'd have taken it. If I can just win my next 2 then the Ancona game becomes a decider for them but with a 14 better goal difference they really need to win on points. The Cup ..... I've never had much luck there. |

| Hats off to you again Paul for providing another week of pulsating CF football. Although my man of the week award has to go elsewhere today, Ivan Gaskell. Take a bow son. Outstanding work. |

| okay that took much longer than I thought it would again But the transfer news is now in and the biggest deal of the day sees Feyenoord obtain the services of Leighton Baines in exchange for 3 players who move to Boro and the signing of Royston Drenthe also allows Boro to list their once highly sort after winger Stewart Downing, he'll be on the auction list next week. |

| Sergio Busquets has agreed his move to Real Betis in exchange for Luiz Gustavo and £10millions with Berlin boss saying "I wanted to get a new midfield general anyway, one who was tougher, and better able to withstand the rigors of the german league". |

| they are the only big deals this week and still no decision from bayern on Podolski as I think he was quite clear on that in the newsletter a few weeks back and is unlikely to sell before his season is over. |

A chance for Geoff fields to strengthen his side or even king Kenny to prepare himself for the championship ? |

Will be interesting to see how many managers go after Downing. Can think of a couple who will definately be interested. Personally, I hope Liverpool put in a bid and obtain his services. |

| I'm going back to the boys in the studio for a short while to get their take on why Arsenal crumbled at Westham this week, so its over to you Alan Hansen...
Well its very simple, they were doing well until Clichy was sentoff then they failed to bring on any cover for him and his winger was then allowed to roam free and also the Arsenal defence was then regularly outnumbered.
They would have been well advised to take off Van Der Vaart at that point and bring on a left back to play against Barrera and his replacement Piper.
You really cant afford to not play fullbacks against wingers.
Okay thanks for that Alan. |

| just looking through it mate.
great performance from your lot
i lost tiago early first half as my PM, but Milner came on who until i read that performance i was thinking about dropping him as a pm anyway.
was thinking about going toe to toe with u regarding the TM thing with Robben but was warey that u have the excellent scotty parker as ur AM so was hoping by playing a PM this would negate the AM and play round/over him to my wingers.
in theory i thought it sounded great as i was missing out your AM whilst putting 3 in the midfield to try and stifle agueuro.
well that didnt work did it lol!!!!
nice tactical switch as well to SEXY, have u tried that before or is it a new thing?, like the look of it - im very much inbetween formations currently.
beaten by the better side. |

| paul, i cant help but notice Raul Meireles hasnt got a wage - i dont know if i forgot to add that or what but hes on a 40 week protected contract but has a wage of £0. Tom will tell u that im a tight bugger sometimes and maybe hes true but i wouldnt begrudge one of my players a wage on signing for my club. lol!! could u give him 55k/ week just so he doesnt feel left out. |

| I played it a few years ago with mixed results, just thought it would help by pulling the wingers back in to the midfield and releasing Chicha up top. |

was quite happy with it at first, got good results against ja and everton away but then it fell spectacurly to pieces against Untied and arsharvin last week |
