| switching to CAT on sixty minutes was certainly a mistake because you didnt have the right players on the pitch to make it work, no wingahlves and centre forward and i think that really cost you creatively and limited your chances so much. Then when you went behind you swapped to LON ball with Forlan at Pm and Balotelli at CF which explains the longball message so thats okay, just think you would have been better off sticking with FAP. dunno what you think ? |

| dont forget you can play FAL which is fast long if you want to increase the number of long balls you play under the FAS system. there is also FAD if you want to go more defensive and still keep the same shape as FAS.
Not sure if you know about these ? |

three sublime performances. plus DYRWsuperb CLCRLWgood with Suarez fully rested and ready to return next week.
It wasnt quite so easy for the youngsters in the FA Cup team with them playing MIX6 433 they only created 4 chances to Villa's 7 and were lucky to go through. DYRHsublime Gksuperb LBAMPMgood. |

| Tough game in europe next week for Chelsea when they take on Feyenoord who have gone six league games without conceding a goal in the dutch league and now with Gervinho and Eriksen on good form will provide a stiff test to Chelsea's credentials, thats if Chelsea play their first team. |

only created 3 chances to Uniteds 15 chances but Begovic saved 11 of those, Scott Parker played well. Van Der Vaart was man of the match by a mile.
Heitinga was dismissed after 47 minutes but class shone through in the end and Aguero put away the important chance and he could have had two but United keeper Robert Green got very lucky.
The cup game was dominated and finished off with goals from Aguero and Welbeck with Sergio also getting mom. |

4 chances to 6 only 2 on target though 1 saved, a good all round performance by Leicester with far better performance ratings than Charlton. 5 crosses.
Both Charlton goals came as a result of a defensive slip by a Leicester player, the first was Carragher coming forward then losing the ball, the second was a poor pass by Carragher when he was again coming forward.
Carragher AE for the game is only 7.5 and that makes him easy to tackle when he comes forward like this so the best thing to do is either improve his AE or put the DEF command on him to stop him coming forward, he normally has a very good PM in front of him and so probably doesnt need to bring the ball out from the defence.

| I played a practice game exactly as the league game but with DEF on both Johnson and Carragher and the score ended up
Leicester 2 Charlton 0 5 chances to 3
sometimes just a little tweak can make all the diference. |

| This is a good point to emphasis actually and highlights the added importance of the agility skill on the bigger pitch. The longer pitch gives the opponents more chances to tackle and so your players agility needs to be well trained or they need to be told not to move forward with the ball, but pass it instead.
Had Plymouth put DEF on Owen Hargreaves ( who only has 5 AE ) they would have won their cup game 5-0.
Some players AE may need reviewing as well, as a guide any top class international playing for one of the top countries should be at least AE=7, internationals playing for other countries should be at least AE=6, under21s should be at least AE=5, just as a general guide. |

| also there are 2 situations in which you cannot stop a player going forward
1) SW in the SWE system but atm this only affects reality managers
2) players with the WEA trademark will always go forward when they can despite you asking them not to. |

| Ive added a level of player intelligence to help counteract this effect of the extended pitch ( mainly to help reality and unmanaged sides but will also benefit you as well ) for centrebacks and anchormen who are supposed to be more defence minded.
There is now a chance that a player will stop going forward on his own accord once he has done it at least 3 times and lost the ball 3 times, its not definite but its a chance. |

| Watford have signed Jake Livermore, Luke James and Jeremy Boga
and it'll be interesting to see if this week's review of Valero Borja is good enough to get him promoted to the first eleven in place of Mikel Arteta, which could allow Jamie to swap Arteta out for Joe Cole who he could then play at lefthalf and strengthen his team in that area. But i'm sure jamie has his own plans.
28 players means the chairman is again on his back but thats due to the three new guys which i'm sure can be sorted fairly quickly.
Chairman on the training ground whatever next ? |

| tough game in europe next week for Watford where they face Rangers for whom Adu, Drogba, Ballack and Eto'o seem to have all hit form on the longer pitch, so that should be an interesting game. |

this was a good performance all round from an evenly balanced game, the wide areas were evenly contested with RBRH against LKDL on one side and LBLH against RKDR on the other side with napoli's AM filling in when the LKRK were upfield, Ancona's pace on the wing was decisive. |

| Luca Scapuzzi looks like a good player in the making in real life, seen him play a few times now and he is a bit lightweight but has an uncanny ability to find the net even with his back to goal, could turn into a star player for the future and he's on Ancona's books. |

| tough game next week for Ancona when they take on Inter Milan, should be a good one, but nothing to fear for Ancona though as they've won four of the last six and beaten Juventus, Roma and Napoli on the way and help AC to a draw. Could be the Ribery Piatti show ? |

8 chances to 1 CFDLDRsublime DRReo-Coker mom STsuperb LBCLPMP2good
SLO 442 with dynamos seems to be working slightly better on the longer pitch as the dynamos are capable of taking advantage of the extra space both on the inside and the outside. Which is good cos dynamos have been a bit less effective than I would have liked previously. The striker has also become more important with more space as his CF has more time to find him if he needs him, so thats good as well. |

| Sturridge might need reviewing as well as he seems happy to play on the wings these days as well as up the middle, maybe we should have him down as STCFLWRW instead of CFSTTM. |

| I've made another slight change to the playing out of position bonuses, RW can now play at RHLH, LW at LHRH, RH a RWLW and LH at LWRW without losing their bonus.
be aware though that they will still have to cut onto their favored foot to cross if you play them on the wrong side. |

| Ive reduced the impact of not playing on contract negotiations.
From now on players will expect to play in one of your teams 9 weeks out of the last 10, thats down from 10 weeks out of 10. This gives you a 10% screwup margin of error.
You will still have to satisfy the player's attitude if its 1,2,3,4 or 5 but this will help with 9 attitude players who dont mind playing in your reserves week in week out, well 9 out of 10 weeks from now on anyway. Attitude 1s will expect to play 9 weeks out of the last 10 in the first11 and so on. |
