| so....week 1 has arrived.
The seminal season for Roma has also arrived. its time for progress.
This season we are doing a liverpool. who needs the bells, whistles and distractions of losing to shit teams in the europa league like shamrock rovers, dundee and saturn oblast on a freezing thursday night in russia.
here's to throwing your eggs in one basket instead of having your mucky fingers in too many pies.
expert turn is now £6.50. i dont remember being told about that little rise unless i missed something. im sure it was 5.50 last week, but i might be wrong, i am an ignorant bastard. |

| That was fucking funny.
Week 1, Lazio away, tricky enough.
Boca playing Newcastle in World Club Cup. Will be next to impossible against Europe's best team. |

| Tricky opener against mine (and most of the league) bogey side ,Plymouth.
0 out of 6 agaisnt them last year so hoping to try and improve on that.
In terms of expectations i honestly thought at the end of last season that the side i had looked pretty strong and there would be a real chance of a top 5 finish again this year.
But with phil brining in the likes of RVP and Nani and Rich leading the chase for Aguero its going to be tougher than ever.
As Gaz showed last year absolutely any team with any level of skill and ability can struggle in the premiership if things arnt spot on.
Last year for long periods i think me ,Rich and Mark were all looking over our shoulders at some point and Phil certainly had a nervy finish in the end so as negative as it may sound this years objective is to get to that 26 point mark which i see as safety and see what happens from there - another cup run would be nice too.
Feyanoord, keep doing what there doing, challenge for the dutch title & maybe a little european adventure

| Was looking forward to this turn and then life kicked in! Not sent my turn after a very busy end to the week.
I have Luton at home in my nerw home of League One. If i lose that i have no hope! Luton have the worst swuad i have ever seen in this game.
Sorry to anyone i had deals with. |

good luck mark.....you shouldnt need it lol Rob is great at these mind games......... After lots of to ing and fro ing I'm expecting a defeat, lots of changes had to be made and there is some exceptional talent there at Boca... quite envious really. I've got the Villa first up and it's going to be difficult with all of the changes I've had to make..... |

| I'm at home to Qpr and having seen their team sheet i expect a win, Their team is truly gash..but not had much luck lately in this game so prob lose 1-0 with an even stronger team than i got relegated with lol |

| Don't envy you Gaz, turns out all your planning might be out the window as you shouldn't be facing QPR, they were relegated.
Due to an error on Pauls part, you will actually be playing Jamie's Watford!!
Not the greatest fixture for Jamie to go blind into either, chelsea away!! |

| Well ive managed to add a few more 9999's to my team, i went through a whole phase of cutting down on the aging players in my squad, but ive realised that players last alot longer in this game since the season takes a year itself! got plenty of time to get a young team. Havnt decided on a new formation yet, so im sticking to the same as i ended last season on. i just hope RVP can take his real life record into the game! and tevez to keep his in game form going! But with the like of RVP, Arshavin, Nani, Tevez, Malouda, Diarra in my team im confident of better season then last, aiming for top6 this season Gonna hopefully keep a settled team, and that should help steady the ship. |

| Some proper bargain basement additions to the squad at Leicester. Taking a similar punt to Phil in largely ignoring age in the hope I can go straight through the Championship and start catching up with the big boys with their £25m payout each year...
Tim Krul, Jamie Carragher & Roger Johnson are the main arrivals, which makes my CB partnership look alot more solid and alot more English. Play offs a minimum.
Need to thicken the squad out a bit, and still on the look out for one quality addition...but cant find it yet.
Betis... Massive addition of Bojan over the close season sees the much vaunted Di Vaio finally put out to graze. Lissandro & Bojan should cause problems to most of the league. Aiming for 3rd. If we get there, I'll be happy. |

| Did anyone enter their feeder club into Europe? If so, are they in the same competition as your parent?
The only reason I ask is I tried to put both mine into the Europa and only Charlton were allowed entry.
From a conversation Will had with Paul, I get the impression he doesn't want parent and feeders in the same competition which is fair enough.
Just wondered if anyone else had the same? |

| Happy with the result, especially as my squad was only 87% effective.
Much work to be done though to get the performance right.... |

| Wow, thats confidence in your feeder team!!
To be honest, if I had the choice I would rather my feeder were in Europe rather than Charlton. |

| My understanding was they would be in different competitions. What was the score in the World Club Cup or whatever it's called? My turn didn't make it in so unhappy as I've never won it and have messed up another opportunity. |
