| Its a great thing you are doing mate, even the blue rinse brigade can see that.
I just threatened to stop listening to their stories about their corns, psoriasis and colostomy bags.
Seriously, its like an episode of Embarrasing Bodies - Senior in our place every Monday and Thursday morning.
Collecting the money off them might be interesting though, half of them don't remember they've sponsored you by the time the reach the front door!!

| Have to say cramp hit me really hard early on but only in my right calf - started at mile 7. Never had anything like it in training -proper uncontrolled muscle spasm. Needed a painkilling injection at mile 17. Last 9 miles were ugly. |

Even more impressive that you battled through despite the cramp at mile 7.
Sod's law you got it in the race, rather than training. But then it might have hindered your preparation if you'd have got it a week before?
Congrats mate. Were you happy with your time? Or just happy to get over the line? |
