can somebody please explain this 'craze' thats happening in shops. now, i know i'd put a few pounds on since the new year (and currently trying to lose a few) but why oh why do men need to have slim fit tshirts?
1) we are not women and slim at the hips
2) we dont like trying stuff on in shops to make sure they fit
3) we usually have these things called a beer belly.
so why slim fit tshirts? does anybody else have one? is it comfortable? I just dont understand how you can have a market for a product thats surely only aimed at not even 20% of men. another annoying thing is on some t-shirts the sleeves barely cover the tops of your arms on and you start looking like either pop-eye or that andy 'kid' on emmerdale (have you seen his muscles?!).
anyway...i'm not complaining (much)....well I am because I wont be going back to this shop again. From now on I guess I should stick to either burton, BHS or ye olde sports direct for trusty old nike polo shirts and football tops where you know if you pick up a large its going to fit without worrying if it will get over your stomach. honestly, its lucky that i tried this slim fit thing on, it actually looked like I was wearing one of those pregnant women tummy support things by the time i'd stretched it over the 6 pints of bitter I drank last night. you'd have laughed.
