| Yep
Feyanoord are a financial mess in real life and are a shell of the club they once were. Its more than conceivable in their current state they would consider being a holding ground for a wealthy English premiership club for financial security and may be a long term benefit.
There chances of turning it around over the next 10 years are very unlikely without some outside help, at one point this year they were plummeting out of the eredevise and have now sacked their coach mario been after a player revolt against him.
not quite the glitz and razmatazz of the the big spanish boys is it.
clubs like athletico and Seville,
European football year in year out, world class players ,tend to finish in the top 5 of their countries top league
I can't see them being feeders to anyone nevermind an east midlands also ran.
just think thats a bit daft tis all |

| i personally don't mind who has which feeder club. I'm very happy to have more managers in Spain even tho they're for feeder clubs!
Flamengo are bottom of the table in Brazil but i'm happy with what players i've got in the squads, it's not the results i'm after its the space in the youth academy i use them for!
Interestingly even tho they've got a stadium capacity in excess of 100,000, they still struggle financially and have lost Joaquin to a compulsory sale a few turns back. |

| Fine. I'll take over at Villa or something just to cheer you up Will
Out of interest, with Spain being down to 1 division, would you prefer that clubs like Seville and Atletico weren't in the top division, and Hercules and Getafe were?, just to suit your feeder club ideals?

| Personally i could'nt care less who's feeder club is who as long as Paul gets a steady income to keep the game improving it does'nt matter, Will just likes a moan..we know what he's like a trouble maker at the end of the day most teams players do not replicate their real life status like plymouth,Birmingham and Fulham for example they are much better in the game than real life,Bottom line is................who cares. Much love...soon to be relegated West London playboys |

| Oh and can anyone confirm that people are taking players with them to their new feeder clubs? cos i dont agree with this and if they are there should be a limit of three players in my opinion cos it would only weaken the leagues that people are leaving.
For example if i was Rob and people in Italy are taking their players with them then that would leave Rob playing non competitive dross every week which would annoy me if i was paying my money, On the other hand it might make Cremonese more competitive but i would rather gain that on merit and not a mass exodus of players. |

| I'm taking players from Chievo to Madrid, to help Paul with trying to get Italy down to one division, I've spent two seasons building a squad having started with 8 shit players and 5m quid.
If I'm not allowed to take my squad with me, then I'm staying in Italy and giving Paul a headache
End of story |

| I'm saying Will, that it's the size of the parent club that obviously worries you, not the size of the feeder club.
How come you haven't got an issue with Santos and Charlton?, Plymouth and Lyon for christ's sake! |

| i dont want to leave my feeder club gaz,
im more than happy to stay where i am.
but if paul has to make changes then he has to make changes,
im also happy to move for the sake of these changes but i refuse to loose my players.
its taken me a long long time and to gather that collection of talent, and if i had to loose them all i wouldnt get another feeder club
im not loosing two years of work for nothing theres way too much talent assembled there.

| Also Will, while I'm at it.
Only on Thursday, you were actively trying to talk me into taking over at Sporting Lisbon...who have a 50,000 capacity stadium and have consistently finished second to Porto, outshining Benfica for the last ten years..
Why are Atletico a problem for you...but Sporting Lisbon weren't? |

| Sporting Lisbon are not much different to Athletico Madrid...actually Lisbon are probably better making the champions league consistently for years.............fight fight fight |

Bravo Rich, thats one of my biggest bug bears as well! I've got Gremio as my feeder and although I have a massive fan base and decent stadium, the economy in Brazil is such that you can't charge a lot for anything which is quite a struggle. Wouldn't change it though as it has such a large pool of talent to pick from, there's always the chance of the next Ronaldo, Messi or Batistuta. Or in my case the mighty Romanian legend that is Bogdan Stancu. |

| Think there's a bug in the game
Metioned this to Paul and he was looking into it
Seems lots of players who had been recently reviewed down to a more realistic level based on what they are or arnt doing have gone back up to their previous state for no particular reason, well not footballong ones

| Maybe when the PP's all went missing paul did like a system recover to put all the PP's back but it also increased the players PTCR back to what they where aswell??
just a thought or i may be completely wrong.
Also did anyone notice that everyone only played 2 defenders? I mentioned to paul and he believe that CL CR arnt registered to found as defenders. so thats why everyone played random formations but they are actually defenders just havnt been classed right. (hope that makes sense) |

| Ur right Phil about the pp and restore point, basically that's what happend pretty much, Paul said he'll have to go back through and redo them so may take some time
Don't get the cl cr thing I thought that was in place now? So what do we put for our centre back positions this week? Cb c2 or cl and cr
Confused??? |

| Back to feeder clubs....
I have to say I agree with Will on this one.
Richard would like me to explain so here goes.
I see Santos as a suitable feeder because they have a small capacity ground of 20,000, they rely on their youth academy to produce stars, have a crap economy, rarely buy someone outside of Brazil and reside in a completely different part of the world to Charlton and so the link would be realisitc.
However, Atletico in my eyes are obviously a bigger club than most english ones, let alone Leicester. They play week in week out in a league equal to the premier league, regularly in the Champions league, finish in the top four or five every season, have some world class stars on their books such as Sergio Aguero and will continue to attract the best players in the world of which you will have priority.
Go back a few years to when Aguero signed for Atletico, do you think Rob, Iain and Matt would have been happy to lose out signing him to Leicester's feeder club because of the priority rule.
I'm sure this will be relevant again soon when AM replace the City bound Aguero with some other stars.
Finally,
Estadio Vicente Calderón - capacity 55,000 (filled regularly) King Power Stadium - capacity 32,000 (filled never)
Please tell me you havn't started with a stadium of that size capacity?
Basically, the only things that bother me are the stadium you will be given and also the priority rules that will be afforded to you.
If Paul agrees to start all feeder clubs on 20,000 capacity and make the priority rule null and void for feeder clubs, then it doesn't really matter who you are, just the players you have. You could have AC Milan as your feeder for all I care.
Anyone agree with those two suggestions? Or not?
I actually agree with someone's posts that if Spain is to be one league, then teams like Atletico need to be in there, but without the normal advantages imo. |
