The 39 Shot Challenge

this isn't a drinking game, sorry.

you'll need to get your caps on for this one.

the winner will get £20 credit for their club in the game, or feeder if you get a season ticket for your main.

16 teams get promoted and 22 teams get relegated between the first tier and the sixth (that's the regional conferences), plus the premier league winner. i've extended to the sixth tier just for tie breaking reasons....nobody should guess the same number this way.

1 premier league winner, 3 down
3 up champ, 3 down
3 up league one, 4 down
4 up league two, 2 down
2 up conference, 4 down
2 up conference north, 3 down
2 up conference south, 3 down

whoever guesses the most number of teams correctly that win promotion or in the relegation places will win. just in case a team goes bust in the conference like last year, in last season's example southport would still count as "relegated" even if they were'nt...they still finished the season in a relegation place....make sense? good.

it was a toss up between them and palace. i went for palace to stay up because even though they've struggled like derby have recently, they always seems to produce good youth players. derby are just a sitting target this season unless they do something about it. and i really don't think they will. sorry william...
