How time flies, doesnt seem long since the end of season.

The reset has finished and data entry is underway...

WATFORD

Shambles as “you don’t know what your doing” ring round at the final whistle of the last game. Not only did the side get beaten in there first home game of the season. They didn’t create a single chance... The manager has wasted no time in trying to get the best out of his side and won’t do a “Southgate” and hope the side get better.
So the manager as thrown caution to the wind and tried to find a better balance in the side. Leroy Sane is the man to be dropped for Amadou Onana… Might not be the change the fans expected. But the manager has a plan/vision “Trust the process” one might say…. Paqueta drops from LW to DL and Silva to DR, while Maddison moves closer to Lukaku to provide the fire-power at TM.
This weeks opponents are Liverpool and Adam Lallana looks to still be pulling the strings from midfield so Onana comes in at BW to help hunt down the ball and win back possession to re-distribute. Lavia makes the bench after last week's disaster of Emile Smith-Rowe coming on and being played out of position and having a Awful game… However, Unfortunately it’ll be the last game as he is being sold to help the club look forward. Ahead of a busy summer transfer window.
Adam “Bolter” Wharton gets Fullreview treatment this week and will look to claim a place on the bench and Cup games.
Derby are this weeks CUP opponents and I’m pretty sure they knocked me out in recent seasons… So not many changes made to the starting XI, but Onana comes in at DY instead of BW and Barnes is tried at TM. Always a player that can be relied on and scores plenty of goals for the club when needed.

AC MILAN

The side have managed to secure 6 points from 2 games, something the manager is delighted with.. However, the side need to keep up with Lazio who have scored 10 goals so far this season compared to Milans 2…. Could provide vital at the end of the season. So the manager has tweaked the side a little to unleash Star player Leao, who comes in at TM and the side switches to FLY to get the most out of Chiesa/Doku/Leao and Abrahams. Locatelli is the player replaced in midfield with Tchameni/Camavinga preferred pivot in the middle.
Atalanta are this week's opponents and again, have plenty of players able to cause an upset. So hopefully the managers preparations have been robust enough.
Manager was delighted to welcome new academy players in Alessandro Logoni and Mattia Liberali after the back of a impressive U17 campaign and the new wave of youngsters helps provide talent for the future to nurture.
Unmanaged Brescia are the opponents in the CUP, with the manager namely a relevantly unchanged side to help the side gain some more cohesion.
 

LEVERKUSEN

Bruno Guimaraes dropped a master class on his debut, picking up Player of the Week at AM, and Player of the season at AM after 1 match... Could this be a sign of things to come? Joao Felix single goal was enough to secure the side all 3 points… Will the manager stick with current tactic, or will he try to unleash a more fluid attacking side…Not much happening this week, some structural works being carried out to help improve the facilities around the club. Also, some legendary coaches being hired to help provide a boost. As for on the pitch, Stuttgart are the opponents and have managed to claim 4 points so far this season. So it a real chance for Leverkusen showcase the quality we have, to leapfrog their rivals.
CUP opponents are Elversberg, who the side should sweep away with ease, giving the star names the side are putting out to secure progress to the next round.
 

BOTAFOGO

After the arrival of Ederson da Silva, new arrival Danilo Pereira finds himself transfer listed as his profile isn’t needed at the club anymore.
Another bid departure is Hulk… He has been at the club for such a long time, helping the side climb to the top of Brazilian football and the club thanks him for his services, but needs to make way for the new generation.
League opponents are unmanaged Coritiba, who the side will be looking to increase the goals scored column, but will have to watch out for Carlos Hudson who is a tricky player able to cause issues for any defence.
CUP opponents are Bento, who manager is looking to try Jota at LW and Endrick up front at “9” as he plays for the national side….

The manager again makes minimal changes to his teams as he tries to keep the consistency that has been lacking in past seasons - although Juventus now switch to FLY which makes best use of the team's TM. 

An injury to Palacios in Argentina means Gundogan gets the starting birth at DY - Plymouth and Atletico make no changes and hope to continue the team's starts - next 90 minutes will show if it has worked or not!
