Welcome to week 24 of the season.

The reset is underway...

WATFORD

Watford having a positive pre-season so far, winning 3/4 of their challenge cups. The side welcomes Romelu Lukaku into the starting XI this week after giving Gyokeres a run out last week. Be interesting to see the competition between those two for the season to come.
No more changes expected for the side.
The duo in Saliba and Gabriel is something the manager is looking forward to developing, 40 goals conceded last season is to much for a team wanting to challenge for the title. Which is the aim for this season.
Midfield of Rice/Maddison and Silva are all household names. In the prime of their careers and will no doubt be aiming to add titles to there trophy rooms.
Brazlian flair of Paqueta and German grit from Sane to add to the experience of Lukaku. Aims for this season are set. Champions Cup and League are priority.
 

AC MILAN

Hopefully the excitement is building around the club after the fans witnessed the arrival of several new superstars to the club to help increase the quality right throughout the side.
Pre-season going well as the new players get to know each other. Hard to put results into context when only playing 6/11 of the planned starting XI.
The side have managed to secure one last piece of the jigsaw.. Rafael Leao joins the Rossoneri.. Looking to add firepower and flair to the lineup, slight headache for the manager.. Who to drop Chiesa or Doku…



 

LEVERKUSEN

The manager has been running over the match reports from the last few weeks and months and tried to identify any weakness in the side. Since Gravenberch left the side, the side has struggled. That because of a change mid season? Or because Palhinha has struggled or a mixture of both?
The manager has decided to go big on bringing in Bruno Guimaraes. The brazlian has been sensational during his time in the premier league so far and his abilities and talent is only going to elivate those around him.
Final transfer business of the off season, as the manager will need to get him up to speed ASAP so he can anchor the side and be the driving force for the side.




 

BOTAFOGO

The side had a strong showing in the Challenge cups, winning 3/4 also. The side has adapted well to the rotations at the top of Endrick and Ramos (Who admittedly has had longer to impose himself on the side). Neymar still continues to be pivotal at RW. How long can the manager keep such a player at the club?
New shopping centre in Rio to boost the coffers and a family longue to help boost the morale within the club having the players family around is always a positive.
Aims for this season will to do one better then the last season and aim for the Copa Liberdatores!

Transfer Headlines

Rafael Leao joins ACMilan from Benfica for £125millions.
Aleksandar Pavlovic leaves Bayern and heads to Barcelona in exchange for £120millions.
Serhou Guirassy joins Juventus from Schalke for £80millions.
Leeds sign Georginio Rutter from Marseille for £65millions.
Ferland Mendy leaves ACMilan and moves to Nantes for £50millions.
I signed Patrick Bamford from Leeds and I paid £45millions he'll lead the line at Banstead.
Leeds spent that money on Joel Piroe and Josh Clarke.

A new manager at Genk this week who takes over from Phil so he will have to approve any further swap deals with his new side.

I have renumbered all the player reference numbers that began with O or S so beware of that. I've barred the system from adding any new refn beginning O or S. Confusion averted hopefully.

I have also retired all the 9595 players who were at unmanaged clubs or floating around in the non-league so we now have plennty of room on the database for new players.

Apprentices have been upgraded from 9292 to 9595 so in theory the unmanaged sides shouldn't suddenly be much weaker, but I will keep an eye on it for awhile.

A quick one at Plymouth - I trained Martinez and the report suggests he gained 92 skills but doesn't seem to have done when I reviewed the actual skills - have I missed something or is his skill level correct?

Also at Independiente - 32 Joaquin Correa dropped out of the starting XI for some reason - with a message could not be found by the system - might be worth taking a look (have added him back into the starting lineup for this week)?

Martinez actually gained 45 skills from individual training. It seems that when I added in the recently revealed stamina skill I introduced an error into the equation that calculated the effectiveness of individual training. This has affected quite a few reports this week but the actual skills gained are correct and its just the report which is wrong.

I have also applied any missing friendly training to Correa.
