Welcome to week 3.

The reset is underway...

WATFORD

 
Watford have stumbled so far in the league this season. Only taking 2 points from the opening to games, a poor showing from a team looking to challenge for titles. The manager has decided to cut his loses. With CUP games deploying the previous tactic in sublime fashion. It’s hard to ignore that the players feel more comfortable and are more suited to PEB. However, last seasons superb Harvey Barnes makes way for some Brazilian flair in Martinelli at RW and Felix using his abilities from the LW. With Silva hoping to be the focal point of the side at DY and the Belgium destroyer Onana at BW. Can Watford make up some ground…  Vs.. Charlton, who have gained 1 extra point and have conceded 10 goals already this season.
Cup opponents are Bristol C, early season cup games are always tricky as teams are still getting trained up and got to ensure rotations to reduce injuries and keep stamina high. So in comes Lodi, Guei, Maddison and Barnes to give fresh legs and build up some extra skills.
This week sees the departure of James Ward Prowse who has been great for the side, able to play in multiple positions. However, he said he wants to be a first XI regular at this stage of his career.


 

GENK
 

Genk have started there season in great fashion, Winning both games and racking up 6 goals so far. However, the manager likes to keep things following through his feeder/sister clubs so that players can move freely between the sides and that recruitment is kept in like with the clubs philosophies. Only changes see’s Lukaku take the sole CF up top and Mahrez comes in for Brobbey.
This weeks opponents are Antwerp, who have had a impressive start to the season. But the Belgium side hold no sentiments and will be looking to take all 3 points. Last seasons collapse still fresh in the players minds and need to make amends.
A new LB on the cards here to push Ferland Mendy for game time.

 
 

LEVERKUSEN

 
Another side who has struggled with the change of tactic, picking up just 1 point. Also, the side with the most to change to get back to winning ways. However, the manager believes he can turn things round if done swiftly, so changes make and team given there task! Andrich who was the anchor of the side last season until Gravenberch came in and couldn’t be displaced comes back in the side at BW. New siging Muani drops to the bench and opens the return for Hazard at LW. Nkunku takes the RW berth from the departed Musiala. Can this new side gel fast enough and reclaim dropped points…
This weeks opponents, Wolfsburg who did the double over Leverkusen..  surely the side got to show some more pride and commitment this season!
Unmanaged Mainz are CUP opponents Muani, Baumgartner, Hlozek, Gueye and Otto come into the side to give a different impetus.


 

BOTAFOGO

 
The fluid Botafogo are able to interchange at will it appears with the main change, the return for Neymar who picked up a knock in the early season. The side is nearly incidental to last seasons with the only change Paqueta at the LW role. Looking at the side, the manager is looking to bring some re-enforcements in to share the burden. As some players are aging and manager will look to move on.
Cortitba stand in the way of the Rio side and 3 points this week. Who the manager looks be rampant and put the defence to the sword.
