Season 33 Week 14 processing...

Welcome to Week 14 and traditionally one of the biggest and most important weeks in the calendar as we look forward to the Quarter-Finals of the European Cups.

The reset has finished and data entry is underway...

No orders from Sevilla this week...

Friendly games have kicked off.

Everything being well the league games should kickoff at 1000 hours Wednesday morning...

Schalke
Change of tactic for the CL Qtr v Man City (A). Having examined how man city have been coping against different tactics...with the full squad available, it's a strong side that will be taking them on.
Berlin at home in the league will be a toughy, but the team is freshened-up in the CB and Winger areas to counter the efforts of a midweek match.
More players going on the list and several NPS being offered extended contracts.
A bit worried about the Man City match, but the tactic would appear to be sound - in my mind!

WATFORD;

Watford's slight tweak looked to inspire a return to goals last week with the team scoring 4. Things got a slight bit tighter at the top of the table with results else were! As for Watford this week, manager has been reviewing contracts to ensure that all players are equal in pay and looking to increase revenue with an investment into shares. 
Otherwise, league team stays as is! As for the cup game Vs Bayern the team is a little more familiar and the recent cup sides, with 5 changes to the side to help get past Bayern. Dangermen will be Mario Gotze and Mario Gomez! Manager is sticking with James Maddison at the heart of the side and Lucas Paqueta keeps his place at LW after impressing the manager with his all round game play. Ward-Prowse remains at RB giving the manager a option to rotate Cancelo.

GENK;

Genk managed to get the talented Enzo Le Fee, who will look to take over from Yohan Cabaye by the end of the season, but the manager wants to let Cabaye go out on a high. So will be keeping him in the Cup side for the remainder of the season while Le Fee gets used to his surroundings. 
The cup side are taking a hideaway to Bali to keep the spirits up ahead of the test that is.. Etienne.. Who are a tough challenge as currently leaders of the french league. Will they be going all out to remain europe or are they going to focus on the league... Manager taking no chances so will be using a strong line up to combat the side who boast the mercurial Paulo Ganso.. 

LEVERKUSEN;

The side has gone from strength to strength over the last couple of seasons, with the manager delighted with how the side have adapted to the style the manager wanted to play and is getting the balance between youth and experience at the moment. a Fullreview in line for Musiala after some dazzling displays for Germany in a mixed performance world cup. As for the players, doing a Cup Hideaway in Monetvideo to avoid any slopes/skiing incidents that Manuel Neuer might want to get involved in...
Unfortunately the manager isn't as blessed with the depth he currently wants, so a more familiar line-up for the cup game. But some more rest will be required for the XI as well as hopefully the doctor has worked his magic and helped build the robustness for some of the players. 

BOTAFOGO;

There has been a buzz around the Rio club lately after the news that Endrick has signed a professional contract and is looking to make a huge leap in the future to further enhance his reputation. Hopefully his development will continue after being called up to the U20 IRL at 16.. Manager looking forward to nurturing his talent and using him right. 
The league game is.... Fluminense... And cup Game... Nacional. Weeks don't come any harder for the side, and the manager hopes that he comes through the other side without too many wounds and scars from the battle....

Well great to see three of the teams progressing, though plucky Twente can’t continue their run in the competition! Have punched above their weight so it’s no all doom and gloom in Holland!

Due to playing away in this fixture, the approach was very much no guys no glory. Don’t die wondering.  Congrats to Ben and the others, good luck for the rest of the tournament. 

Might not be the worse thing as stamina kicks in later in the season! Glass half full and all that! 

Maybe need to review Bellingham and Saka so they can reproduce their performances on the biggest stage of all.
