| Week from hell didn't turn out too bad or so I'm trying to convince myself. 7 games away, 1 at home. 4 wins, 2 draws and 2 defeats could've been a lot worse.
Charlton - tough one to take having lead for a large part of the game, but not unexpected. Not sure I've ever won at Maine Road, let alone got a point. On the plus side, if you'd have offered me being a point off the top in week 4 having played Chelsea and City (two games I lost last season) then I'd have snapped your hand off. Have a feeling I escaped with a point in Barcelona with my tail between my legs but a massive point nevertheless.
Nantes - Great away win in Europe but brought back down to earth with another tough to take defeat but again another one we lose every year. Long way to go thankfully.
Wolfsburg - Two wins and looking steady. Outrageous league position helped with a fairly favourable start to the season considering the quality of the teams in the league. Four out of the next 5 fixtures (Hannover, Schalke, Bayern and Leverkusen) will see us sink down the league to probably a rightful position but to have the points on the table is a massive bonus. Come week 9 if we are still outside the bottom three then we are doing something right, any points picked up between now and then will be a massive shock.
Fluminense - Important away point in the Copa and a sensational but unexpected win in the league for a team in transition trying to find their right lineup is really pleasing. |

Barcelona on top and yet to concede a goal is a bit ominous for the rest although their boss does have a reputation for tinkering and maybe that will become crucial as the season unwinds, whilst Valencia and Betis both struggle Deportivo have taken the early advantage to grab fourth spot and maybe a return for them to the good times they once enjoyed so much of... The tinkering is over ….. mostly ….. I think. That’s a bold claim for week 4…. Options already in the squad and up to speed. No need for additions. I've seen how strong Barcelona are, very impressive. Think Rich and Ben will have a real fight on their hands this season in La Liga. I'm pretty settled so I'll just trundle along and hope for the best, have won a trophy every year at Real so as long as I keep that up I'm happy. |

| A fairly quiet week of transfers as managers search for that elusive consistency bonus.
The biggest deal saw Illan Meslier join Genk for £65millions from Newcastle.
The other deals are all detailed in this week's turn as the TP special action report is now free of charge and automatically sent to everybody... |

No Bayern in the top four, no Berlin and no Gladbach, things are changing in Da Bundesliga... Might only be a coincidence but Bayern, Berlin and Gladbach have all played Hannover already. Doesn’t get easier because it’s Wolfsburg, Leverkusen and Schalke in the next 3 games. Got to play them sometime but that’s a brutal run of 6 games. |

| Thanks Paul! Quick q on shirt sales - is there a reason why my Chairman at Plymouth is only ordering a few thousand shirts, compared to Chairman at Atletico who is ordering 70,000 a week? I’ve only sold 4% at Plymouth so should be lots of scope for sales! |

International Fixtures List Same every season, so not printed out… group stages team 1 vs team 2 and team 3 vs team 4 team 4 vs team 1 and team 2 vs team 3 team 1 vs team 3 and team 2 vs team 4 semi-finals winners of each group final

Need to know if I've got the correct U21 scout please. According to above, I should be playing EIRU21, but I have ARGU21 scout...
I'm not having much luck with scouts of teams I'm supposed to be playing... Andy. |

I pay 150k a week on 9999 at Atletico and Plymouth and Independiente and 95k at Twente so I’m now as I should be - though know you manually amended Twente Paul. I ideally want to drop Independiente’s 9999 to 95k if possible please and keep the other things as they are across the other clubs… |

| Okay, seems the changes to the contracts manager I made a couple of turns ago have screwed alot of you up so we are going back to using the original contracts manager, the one that only does pay rises using the default wage structure.
The default wage structure is CR99 95,000 CR97 75,000 CR95 55,000 CR94 45,000 CR92 25,000 CR90 15,000
I will rerun the wages module to ensure that all players at clubs that have a player contracts manager are earning at least the default wage. Then I will go through and sort the anomalies that you have identified above and resend the turns. |

| I have also reduced the number of attitude 1 players on the database by re-introducing the 25 full international cap requirement before he becomes attitude 1.
I have removed attitude 2 requirements so we now only have attitudes 1 and 9.
Attitude 1 players need first18@70%. Attitude 9 players need anyteam@70%.
Age still affects attitude so all under24s and all over29s will be attitude 9s.
This seems to better reflect squads in reallife but still gives you something to consider if you want to own 50 top class internationals in your team. |

| Thanks Paul, based on the above information can I request my squads are untouched after the contracts manager has set them all to default. I’m confident I won’t need any at £150,000 anymore.
Would it be pain to get a turn resent after this is done so I can see where my squads are at attitude wise? If not, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks |

| I've made the changes to player wages and recalculated your finances for the week and resent the turns.
Any issues let me know and I'll clear them up before the next turn. |

Clubs 5 and 6 were missing from the printout, should be okay in the resent turn though. |

This is quite a common question that I answer at least once a season. If your sales top out the standing gets reduced drastically. If you then expand your fanbase the chairman will only increase the standing order to meet the new demand by a maximum of 1000. If that's not enough then you need to reset the amount using the OI special action code to compensate for the added demand. Chairmen are very cautious you dont have to be. Hope that helps. |
