A loss

I made a mad dash down to the midlands on monday morning, stopped for a coffee at my sisiter's before we headed to hospital to visit my ailing mum , only to find she had passed away 15mins earlier. 
She had reached the ripe old age of 91 last week and her health was failing fast, so it wasn't a surprise.......just a shame I didn't get to say farewell.

Sorry for your loss mate, I know how tough it is to lose your mum, it's just a shit time.

Sad news Dave but as my mum would say, who is 87 and has dementia, she had a good innings.

Sorry to hear this Dave. Please don't beat yourself up re the timeline though - I told my mum (87) about this, and she said she wouldn't want me to be doing so, just remember the good times...
