| Does anyone have a copy of the speech General Custer made before his famous last stand? Asking for a friend. |

| News just in....
Breaking news coming in from Germany is that Hannover have just secured a huge investment from an un-named source who has purchased all 1million of the clubs shares in the most intriguing German Cup final battle in modern history. If they win, the unnamed source stands to pocket a cool £10million for their investment. Unlike some recent finals, Hannover have no plans to let their new investor down.
In a true David vs Goliath fixture, the little fancied Hannover side - led by Danish Centre Forward Yussuf Poulson – have managed to beg, steal and borrow their way to the final, using a mixture of ballwinners and winghalves - beating some very fancied teams along the way.
However, to go one step further they need to defeat the juggernaut that is Schalke who finds themselves 1-25 odds on favourites for the fixture. The German League Champions can bolster a side of modern day 'Galacticos' and an array of talent most clubs could only dream of. A loss here would pile the pressure on the Schalke manager who promised an array of trophies to the fans this year.
Rumour has it Rob Wilson has developed an impassioned speech to inspire the players, using clips from Disney Movies to show how his team's dreams can really become a reality. Mel Gibson is also rumoured to have visited the players during their cup hideaway this week as Wilson uses all his network to prepare the players for battle.
There have been no leaks from the Schalke camp, although rumours persist around players being locked in their rooms from 6pm, showing just how seriously the Schalke Manager is taking the game.
Stay tuned for more news as we get it... |

| If it is going wrong at half time you could always dish out a John Sitton style speech as well |

Expectations are low Gaz. REALLY low. I’m just trying to persuade the team to turn up for the game. WHV has really started to work though and the PM CF partnership of Brozovic and Poulsen could cause some issues. |

| Haha, you don't get to a cup final without having something about you! My boys have been told, in no uncertain terms, NOT to think they'll have an easy time. They will WORK or they won't play!
I actually expect a tough time - but I'm going for 'possession' to help stifle the Hannover players impact. |

Not even sure you need a location but Hannover are going to a top secret high altitude hideaway in the Swiss Alps. |

| With less than 24 hours to go until the 'David and Goliath Derby', anticipation over this fixture - which has captured the attention of football fans across the world – is high.
Whilst both camps have attempted to keep things under wraps, a recent press release from Hannover Manager Rob Wilson has shone light on this motivational methods, asking players to 'let it go' and give it their all in attempting an impossible task. On hearing the emphasis on Disney classics Fans of the club have now written to the Lower Saxony State Parliament to demand that their manager is forced to celebrate any victory by dressing up as Else from Frozen.... watch this space...
On the other hand the Schalke manager has kept things under wraps, releasing a very short statement suggesting his team will score more than Hannover. However, insiders in the camp - talking exclusively to PIAT NEWS - have highlighted that the pressure seems to be getting to the players and manager over which would be the biggest shock in German football in modern times. Whilst the manager's job isn't seen as being at risk - regardless of the result – the fans are demanding victory at all costs... |
