Nantes 57 +65 CHAMPIONS Monaco 48 +12 Marseille 47 +31
Nantes have now won eight Championship trophies since Tom took over only missing out in season 23 when they finished second and season 26, they've also won the Coupe De France five times and the Europa Cup twice, an astounding domination of French football which looks set to continue.

Schalke 54 +40 CHAMPIONS Bayern 37 +12 Stuttgart 34 +6 Gladbach 31 +2
Schalke thoroughly crushed all their German opposition this season to claim Andy's fifth title success in the last six years and when you add to that his five Pokal Cup wins, two wins in the World Club Cup and two wins in the Champions Cup, it's very impressive and all that sucess also helps accumulate great wealth as Schalke look to burst the world record transfer fee wide open with a massive bid this week... |

| Overall a mixed week - Plymouth went with the same tactic as in the CL Semi-Final but Gundogan a big loss it seems Twente tried something new which seemed to have an affect on the result Atletico were missing some players and tried a new tactic so be interesting to see what/how they did Independiente went with a slightly different midfield mix which seemed to have worked.
Last week of rebuilding here so hopefully everything coming together for the next few weeks.
Congrats to everyone and thanks Paul for a good week! |

Ajax 52 +48 PSV 47 +46 Twente 46 +35 Rotterdam 45 +29
Two home games left for leaders Ajax against Feyenoord and NacBreda and only a single point needed before they can claim their ninth league title but it looks like they will be celebrating without the inspirational Frenkie De Jong who requested a transfer a few weeks back and looks to be joining Atletico if all goes well later today... |

| The slump at Cheslea continues , hopefully it is just a case Ziyech and Werner settling in as apart from that not a lot has changed.
Emelec continue to to amaze me with their result , if we can hang on for two more games what an achievement it will be for them. |

Despite defeat in the Champions Cup final this week Inter look strong favorites to nick Lazio's Scudetto title with two easier games left, famous last words from me maybe ?... |

Celtic 42 +22 Motherwell 40 +14 Hibs 39 +14 Aberdeen 39 +8
Still anyone's title with Motherwell's trip to Celtic Park next week looking very much like the decisive game of the season. Good news for Motherwell was that Diego Tardelli should be fit for the game next week following the knock on his ankle in the goalless draw this week...

Dave claims his third title success in five seasons at Ruzomberok with games to spare as his side again leave the opposition needing to catch up massively, will the boss stay or move to a new challenge ?... |

| Spain
Barcelona 53 +32 CHAMPIONS Atletico 45 +40 Real Madrid 44 +49 Real Betis 43 +38
For awhile here it was touch and go between the top two but Rob claims his third league title in three seasons with Barcelona equalling Keith Williams's title winning streak in season's 11, 12 and 13 but still along way from Matthew Hudson's seven league titles but Rob is still the only manager to win five league titles in a row, a feat he managed whilst in charge at Inter Milan in seasons 21 to 25, so he's been there and done it and will take some stopping... |

Nacional have powered past the opposition in the last two season's to win their second consecutive title after finishing runners up in both the previous seasons, but the chasing pack have all declared it wont be quite so easy next time around and all three chasers look determined to get their own sides back on top, we'll have to wait and see... |

Chicago took a step closer to reclaiming the title from Cosmos this week but with two very tough away games still to play at NewYork and Kansas it is still far from decided. By comparison Cosmos have to play Giants and then NewYork at home... |

The big game this week saw first beat second and now just one point is all Watford need from next week's trip to Maine Road in order to claim their third Premiership title in three season's, they certainly looked to be back to their best this week... On annual leave this week and No plans all week to do anything apart from Wednesday between 10-15 Go see all the family Typical!! haha Delighted to have got over the line this week with Premier League! Made the run in very nervous for myself... Tip for Gary@Chelsea... Don't do deals mid season! On the flip side it will allow the players to get bedded in a little quicker and be more settled for the next season! |

Flu leapfrog Santos back to the top with any easy game next week at home to Sao Joao then what could be the title decider in week 22 at Vasco who can beat anyone on their day. Results from two home games for Santos against Palmeiras and Sao Joao will decide their fate, whilst Botafogo could still do it with an outside chance but have to face Sao Paulo at home and Palmeiras away. Still plenty to play for here... Fantastic title challenge this year, so many twists and turns for all the teams involved and I'm sure the next two games will be tense. As for Botafogo, the team just needs that little bit more cutting edge.. Hopefully the manager can weave himself a player or two to help compete for the title next season... Congrats to Tom! |

| Another enjoyable (for me anyway, before Gaz interupts...) week Paul, thanks
Mixed set of results, Charlton one was expected although still a little disappointed we couldn't mount a fight back against 10 men. A plan B is certainly needed for the big games away from home me thinks, couple of games left to try something different out which is good.
Fluminense cup final result was tough to take, however the team showed great character in the league game and defied fatigue to provide a sensational result. Equally as shocking a result was Vasco beating Santos, although Vasco do have that kind of performance in them which will hopefully not prove the case come week 22!
Nantes, sensational.
Congrats to all the cup winners and teams who clinched league titles this week! |
