Another close title race, one loss and it might be curtains...

Vasco on another level this season, however the end of season game vs Fluminese could cause a massive swing. 

Botafogo have been solid most the season bar the first two games.. Fine margins!

Charlton - Great victory hopefully signalling the sign of things to come, as previously mentioned though whilst beating City away is always a great result, it seemed an ideal week to play them after the massive effort they put in during the midweek to reach the Champions Cup final.  Does show however they are still a top top side.  Tactically the future of Charlton has been narrowed down to a couple of options, option 1 starting well, however both systems require a few departures and hopefully a few new faces coming in.....

Nantes - Came out of this week on the wrong side of a tough semi final against high fliers Arsenal, a game that was always going to be close turned out to be the narrowest of defeats.  A third Europa final in three years was just a step too far this year.  Pleased to grab a vital league win after the midweek efforts to maintain the gap to six points.  Another four wins and the title could be ours....

Fluminense - Despite conceding a late equaliser, overall not too bad a week.  A third Copa Libertadores final in a row and still only three points off the top is more than acceptable this week.

Man City signed Dominic Calvert-Lewin from Newcastle for £125millions. Thiago Alcantara made the £40million trip from Nantes to Charlton where he joins new signing Diego Costa who cost £35millions.
Watford swapped De Geo for Leno and bought in Dean Henderson for £35million as part of the same deal with Man United. Nantes signed Wesley Fofana from Gagnoa for £30millions. Keeper Akinfeev and Central defender Kounde both joined Barcelona. Plymouth let Aubameyang join Charlton and replaced him with Luis Suarez for £15millions from Nacional. Ciro Immobile joined Barca and Santos's Jo came back to England to try and bolster Fulham's waining fortunes. Bernardo Silva left Charlton and joined Plymouth. Overtime I have gradually changed the first team from the team I've inherited with Pogba/Kane/De Bruyne and Bale all that are left from the "Originals" ....

I wouldn't recommend FAS....actually what am I saying!  Do it! 

To be fair, FAS has worked in the past, very well.  If you get the right players then it will work just as well I'm sure.  Think my problem has been my players weren't best suited to it.

I did manage to Win the Champions League with it at Arsenal... However, i vowed to not play it on my return... a decision that seems to have been justified
