Botafogo 47 +43 Sao Paulo 46 +33 Fluminense 41 +27 current Champions
Santos drop out of the title race as they only draw at Cruzeiro and five goals for Agnaldo helps to keep Sao Paulo hot on Botafogo's tail. |

Genk are the Champions for another season and remained unbeaten despite playing second placed Ajax. |

Watford 51 +53 current Champions Charlton 47 +38 Plymouth 33 +1
Next up for the Champions is an away trip to Newcastle who need to sort out their massive squad problems in order to put up a decent fight whilst Charlton, who have only lost once this season, unfortunately at home to Watford, face a tougher test at home to Aston Villa, will it go to the last game of the season ? alot depends on what Newcastle can do to sort their problems... |

Everton 47 +46 promoted Man United 41 +22 Banstead 39 +14 ------ Westham 38 +20 Birmingham 38 +18
Westham entertain Man United next week after beating previously unbeaten Everton this week with a stunning second half comeback with Kolarov leading the charge. A tough game at Tranmere for Birmingham and a tough home game against Everton for my own Banstead next week might see some clarification in who will go up and who wont... |

Auxerre are the only side to have beaten Nantes this season but can they do it again next week at Nantes and spring a shock to deny Nantes the point they need to retain their title... |

Lazio 52 +62 ACMilan 47 +38
Milan have a slim outside chance but with Lazio in such great form it seems an away trip to relegated Parma should hold no fears next week, complacency aside... |

Benfica 55 +82 Lisbon 53 +66
Despite losing narrowly this week at Lisbon an away trip to Guimaraes and a home tie against Academica should be easy hurdles for Benfica to jump especially with Renato Sanches in such good form this season having scored at least once in every game bar one... |

Aberdeen 45 +19 Motherwell 42 +28
Celtic's loss at Rangers this week ended their slim title hopes and left it open for either Aberdeen or Motherwell, with Aberdeen's last title success coming back in season 12 and Motherwell's last title back in season 6 it is exciting times for those two clubs and a welcome return to Motherwell for boss Jim Vickery who returned to the hotseat last season and could be on the brink of repeating his season 6 success but alot will depend on Aberdeen's next game away at Celtic... |

| Delighted with this weeks set of results. Watford managed to get all 3 points away from home. Match report will be a interesting read to decide what to do against Mark next week! Genk wrapped up the title in style, with Lewandowski putting in a sublime performance increasing his tally for the season to keep pressure on for the golden boot! Botafogo, with the absence of Sturridge managed to take all 3 points aswell. With Borges trying to prove a point while currently on the transfer list... |

| Aston Villa signed Deli Alli from Charlton for £50millions to further strengthen the London sides warchest coffers, Man City paid £20millions for young striker Liam Delap from Newcastle, and another £15millions on Ademola Lookman, as well as £15millions on Marcus Edwards from Charlton and they bought young Sean Longstaff from Dortmund for £12millions. Birmingham were a bit more modest and paid £10millions for David Luiz from Botafogo.
Quite a few players went to the non-league as most of you sensibly prepare for next season's reduced squad size limit of 60 players.
Coaching & Finances now... |

Love to see stats like these, fascinating to see the names through the years. Indication of how tough the competition is at the minute with two of only 3 managers to successfully defend the trophy currently in the game still. Seems I may have peaked my Charlton side at exactly the wrong time!! Hats off to all those managers, some achievement to win it. Paul, has anyone ever won it having managed the same team in League 2 at some point under their control? I'm looking at it thinking possibly Dan Furneaux @ Plymouth, or Dave@Boro? Mark? |
