Delighted with this weeks set of results. Watford managed to get all 3 points away from home. Match report will be a interesting read to decide what to do against Mark next week! Genk wrapped up the title in style, with Lewandowski putting in a sublime performance increasing his tally for the season to keep pressure on for the golden boot! 
Botafogo, with the absence of Sturridge managed to take all 3 points aswell. With Borges trying to prove a point while currently on the transfer list...

Official records started in season five, before that we only had English teams. Season 1 was won by Man City Geoff Fields, season 2 by Man United, season 3 was Arsenal, and season 4 I think was Soton Matt Backley, but that's all from memory as we had no Trophy file before season 5.

Aston Villa signed Deli Alli from Charlton for £50millions to further strengthen the London sides warchest coffers, Man City paid £20millions for young striker Liam Delap from Newcastle, and another £15millions on Ademola Lookman, as well as £15millions on Marcus Edwards from Charlton and they bought young Sean Longstaff from Dortmund for £12millions. Birmingham were a bit more modest and paid £10millions for David Luiz from Botafogo. 

Quite a few players went to the non-league as most of you sensibly prepare for next season's reduced squad size limit of 60 players.

Love to see stats like these, fascinating to see the names through the years.

Indication of how tough the competition is at the minute with two of only 3 managers to successfully defend the trophy currently in the game still.  Seems I may have peaked my Charlton side at exactly the wrong time!!   

Hats off to all those managers, some achievement to win it.

Paul, has anyone ever won it having managed the same team in League 2 at some point under their control?  I'm looking at it thinking possibly Dan Furneaux @ Plymouth, or Dave@Boro? Mark?

Also, fascinated to know, without mentioning figures, which teams are the richest in the game at the minute?
