Triple is still on for Watford, one better then last year for Watford as last year was only FA Cup ha. Shame to drop points for Botafogo, however delighted with the cup display with Key injury to DY so hopeful for a swift return for Tete. And too form For Botafogo. |

| Transfers all done and the biggest deal of the day was a swap deal where Falcao and Fellaini joined Aberdeen and Raul Jimenez moved to Stamford Bridge for £10million. |

| Great league result for Chelsea shame about the cup but not the be all and end all , I am now fairly confident I will be staying in the league for another season at least , Great to get Raul Jimenez in and move on two ageing players although my first team squad is quite thread bare in numbers |

| Desperately needed win against Bayern, who have been a machine this season!
Glad to seize the engine this week and sow the seeds of doubt.... |

| I've resent the turns with the missing match reports. Order sheets should arrive in the post later as normal, according to the chap in the post office they will be maintaining their normal service for now, but feel free to send them back electronically, just make sure photographs sent from your phones are on the best quality else they are too small to read.
Any more problems let me know. |

| Quick question P,
Just noticed that the only player in my whole squad that increased in skills was Dybala, who was my Ind Trng choice. Every single one of the other players stayed exactly the same.
No need to do anything about it this turn, just thought it was odd and perhaps needed checking for future?
Andy. |

| Hey, thanks for another week's top entertainment Paul.
Just a quick question regarding stamina, my three squads seem to have been affected badly this week stamina wise after remaining high all season. Has anyone else had this, this week? Has something changed this week to warrant the drop in stamina levels?
Also, I seem to have three Brazil U21 players suspended for some reason, no cards were issued in the last competitive game in the semi final, also in the friendlies that were played this week? Not sure why they are suspended, can you help?
Thanks, hope everyone is well. |

| I noticed it also, but I assumed it was my own doing as getting to crunch part of the season I rotate my teams less....
Was going to try the REST dealing this week, as Paul changed it recently and you dont have to drop a player to use it. They must wont take part in training that week. But not 100% how will affect TS as they will still play a game..... |

| Stamina reminder :-
High = 90-99 minutes Good = 70-89 minutes Poor = 40-69 minutes Awful = 0-39 minutes
At this time of the season players get a 30 minute bonus at the start of each game ( is 45 minutes earlier in the season ) and an extra 25 minutes for each training slot with RE in it ( rest & recouperation ) and they use up stamina at a rate of 1 for each minute they are on the pitch.
So lets say playerx starts the week on 99 minutes, then playing a full game leaves him on 99+30-90=39 minutes then he gets sunday off RE+RE will leave him on 39+25+25 = 89 minutes, which is probably what a lot of you are seeing this week.
You can counteract this by adding in an extra RE slot onto your training schedule. Where you add it will depend whether or not you have a midweek game, if you do then add it on thursday or friday, if you dont you can add it anytime. Players who play twice a week will need to be rested using the recently altered REST dealing ( no training but can still play ) or rested by adding in more RE slots onto your training schedule. |

Thanks for this Paul, good to know. Can I ask a couple of questions regarding the revised dealing REST? 1) I understand you can REST someone and they can still play but can you REST an attitude 1 player and get away without playing him without him kicking off? 2) If you REST someone, whilst they can play but not train, does that mean they will lose skills? I ask this as I remember I steered away from using this in the past as the player lost too many skills? Thanks |

| Also, if player x played in two games in a week, would he get 30 minutes bonus for each game or just the once for the week as a whole?
I assume he would play the cup game first, get 30 minute bonus etc then start the league game with whatever he has left in the bank plus another 30 minute bonus? Hence using the RE in training on the Thursday or Friday?
Thanks |

| I changed the REST dealing because very few managers were using it and as such it didn't add much to the game. It is now a trade off between training skills and gaining stamina, the choice is yours and it shouldn't affect attitude ones because you can still play them. Players who are rested from training wont gain or lose any skills.
Just to recap REST now rests a player from training, you should still play him as normal.
The 30 minute boost is applied at the start of each game. |
