| Spain
Real Betis 13 +15 Barcelona 13 +12 Champions Real Madrid 13 +8 Atletico 10 +4
Top three all unbeaten in their first five games and we know Barca and Real can keep it up but can Betis match them and give them a run for their money, well we wont have to wait long to find out cos Betis visit Barcelona next week... |

| MLS
Cosmos 15 +8 Champions Harrisburg 12 +13 Chicago 12 +12 NewYork 12 +11 Kansas 12 +2
Kansas have elevated themselves into the top echelons of the MLS this season but will need to perform next week when they visit the Champions else it could be a short stay... |

Partizan 13 +15 Red Star 13 +12 Champions Zagreb 12 +9 Dragovol 10 +7 Maribor 10 +3 unmanaged
Partizan have gone from being a feeder club to being a parent club and seem to be performing much better this season as they look to wrestle the title from their close city rivals... |

Wow - what a second half - annoyed not to concede 3 but that's Plymouth's way it seems at the moment... hard game even at home... |

| Nantes have sold Diego Costa to Atletico Madrid for £125millions. Atletico recouped some of that money by swapping Lucas Hernandez for Julien Wiegl, Mats Hummels and £50millions with Barcelona. Thomas Muller accepted a lucrative new contract at Dortmund in exchange for £80millions. Andre Silva moved from Fluminense to Nantes for £60millions. Struggling Wednesday solved their right back problems by splashing £40millions on Nathaniel Clyne from Watford. |

| Thanks Paul for another top week.
Another exceptional week for my teams. Charlton although disappointed to lose a lead in the last 10 minutes, can only be pleased with a point at a venue they have struggled most of the seasons they have played there. Watford continue to steamroller teams and it is difficult trying to keep them within sight, hats off to Phil, doesn't seem like they will drop points at all this season. My title challenge could be over as early as next week with defeat at The Valley, a defeat to the table toppers would leave me 7 points behind, but like Paul says having had a tougher start to the season and got some tricky fixtures out the way, maybe it is too early to consider such a thought so early. On current form, a fit and firing Kane against an already leaky defence, an away win is surely a banker?
Nantes produce a fantastic performance against their current and annual closest rivals. To win is something but to win with such a performance is so pleasing. Will the departure of Costa, who was instrumental to the way they play, upset the balance of the side? Mbappe will come in but offer a different kind of threat as a CF you'd think.....
Another statement in Brazil this week too, Botafogo have started the season very strongly and it was always going to be an acid test heading into this fixture. Again to get the win so comfortably was not expected but greatly received nonetheless.
Pleased with all teams this week, another enjoyable week. |
