| Welcome to week 20.
With only three league games remaining for the season it is another crucial week for most of you and we have the Champions, Europa and Copa Libertadores finals to look forward to, along with a plethora of smaller european cup finals.
But I am a bit behind this week because of the bank holiday, why do they call them holidays when all that you seem to do is more work than on a normal day ?

| Another big week for Watford, words from the chairman "we have given the manager everything he needs to deliver success" This is what he players work so hard all season for, a chance to lift the Champions league trophy, with the manager being brought in due to his performances for previous campaign in Europe's top competition. Can he bring the glory to Vicarage Road? Rotations in league and cup games to keep key players fresh, can it be masterstroke? Or will the manager drop the plates....
Genk are rumoured to be bringing in another superstar this week to complete the EOS transfers after wrapping up the league early, however pride is still to be played for can Genk go unbeaten this season??
Botafogo, hit by injuries and suspensions are in jeopardy of dropping the pace towards the business end of the season. After the recruitment of Lucas Moura last week, Rumoured to be bringing in Brazilian star Felipe Anderson on a permanent deal. Can they team settle before the cup final.... however team is geared up to compete next season! |

There were some great games here today, congratulations to all the winners cos none of these competitions were easy.
Special congrats to Phil Green who added his name to the Champions Cup trophy for the second time, the first time being back in season 23 when he took Arsenal all the way to the winners rostrum. He joins a select list of managers who have won this competition twice that now includes, Phil Green, Andy Le Butt, Geoff Fields, Mark Sanderson, Matthew Hudson and Dave Cowe. |
