Season 29 Week 18 processing...

Welcome to week 18 and the World Cup Final as Phil Green's England try to prevent a very strong German side managed again by Dave Brothers from retaining the World Cup they won last season. We also have the final of the World Youth Cup this week which will also be contested between England and Germany and the final of the Gold Cup which sees the Republic of Ireland facing off against Greece.

More crucial league games as Premiership leaders Watford host third placed Manchester City in the first of a fascinating double-header, Serie A leaders Ancona entertain second placed favorites AC Milan with just a point separating them and if Schalke win at Cologne they will be crowned Champions for the fifth consecutive season.

So plenty to look forward to this week, should be exciting.

Well it's all to play for this week, Watford against City, Genk rebuilding for next season..... some big transfers? And Botagofo only 2 points off second! 

But what a Game, England vs Germany, suspensions for both seems shouldn't distract fromt he game too much. England used TIC all the way to the final and in preparation the manager felt too exposed to the Wingers of Germany and decided to protect the Flanks..... can CAT prevail? 

As the Youth, injuries and suspensions again playing there part in selection with Cook and Maddison both unavailable giving a debut to Rice in midfield. Can Foden,Sancho,Rice,Rashford take the glory?

So Germany proved marginally better than England at both levels in both finals and retain the coveted World Cup, congratulations to Dave Brothers and Greece take the Inaugeral Gold Cup with a late winner in a tense match.
