Season 29 Week 16 processing...

Welcome to week 16 and it's a big week for four of our top sides with the Champions Cup semi-finals to look forward to as Man City, Watford, Plymouth and Schalke all vye for the top trophy. The Man City Watford game will be especially interesting because these two have to play each other home and away in the league title runin as well. Good luck to everybody this week...

Reset has finished and data entry has started...

It's a big week for the Watford faithful, massive game against City in the cup which calls for full focus, so some players rotated for the league allowing for some player to capitalize on game time. However, with Genk up against Nantes in Europe will give it best shot but Lewandowski returning from injury and not up to speed leaves my short of fire power. But this is football!!

Met Ben last night for dinner and to go to Arsenal v Newcastle (thanks Ben). Let’s just say that the nerves were kicking in. Lots of mumbling about Matic needing to step up and “it’s all on Mahraz and Auba” was a common phrase. I think he was OK when i left him at Finsbury Park tube.

Jealous! We (Arsenal) might actually finish in the top 4, with a more achievable  run-in than the others....
Prepared Schalke as best as I can for the big semi against Plymouth - so no excuses. Expecting a toughie...

Arsenal were very average but had more than enough last night, except Mustafi..... he was awful.

With the praise you gave Elneny after he came on last night I was kicking myself for not starting him. Obviously looks like I didn't need him - be wary though Phil...

Elneny is not a footballer. That’s just how he makes a living. He did play better than Mustafi though.

Ironically Elneny is one of the only Arsenal players to score against Barcelona in the CL... they lost 3-1...

Say what you want he still can’t play football and you know it ..... although he wasn’t the worst on Monday night.

We seem to have six-pointer games each week and this week is no different as teams vie to either finish top or avoid relegation, a tough Champions Cup game between Watford and Man City is already decided in Watford's favor but can they now find the energy to beat a strong Arsenal side at the Emirates ? can Man City recover from that defeat to get all three points against Newcastle, reknown for their tough counter-attacking style and if either slip up can Charlton take advantage by beating Intertoto Cup finalists Birmingham at home ? We're about to find out, good luck to everybody...
