The Chiefs took the title after Dave took his eye off the ball with his feeder club but hopefully Accra's troubles are all behind them and next season will be much better...

Celtic 51 +38 Steve Mumford St Johnstone 49 +33 Geoff Fields Inverness 45 +18 John Horrocks Aberdeen 35 +16 Mike Horwell
Celtic only lost twice all season and were worthy winners in what is a very strongly contested league, with big changes coming next season to the structure of the league things should improve further for those that suffered at the hands of having to play Celtic three times, it will only be twice in future...

Galatasaray 62 +58 Mal Davies feederclub for Stuttgart. Zamalek 60 +41 unmanaged Fenerbahce 42 +15 Zvenger Wrolf feeder club for Hamburg. Beersheba 40 +12
A well deserved title triumph for Galatasaray as Mal's feeder club went the whole season unbeaten and dropping just four points, oh how he wishes Stuttgart could do the same. A new manager at Besiktas for next season will improve competition for the Champions though...

Another excellent season for Bobby's unbeaten Red Star Belgrade side, his second title in two seasons since taking over, add to that a cup win and a super cup win and Red Star would seem to be in very good hands. Plymouth take the plaudits as Ben steers them to first place it what has been an exhilerating season for the English top flight, it's always close and this season was no different...
Congrats to Ben, the table never lies and so he deserves great credit for winning the toughest league in the game, well done mate.
Not a bad season in the end for Charlton, semis in the European Cup and since week 5, no-one has picked up more points. It was the dreadful start that cost us dearly. Four weeks in and only 2 points on the board, 8 behind the leaders, was always going to be too much to catch up. So to finish only three points off the top two is quite satisfying after all.

Santos depose Fluminense but it's been nip and tuck between the top two ever since they came to Brazil and long may it continue...
Congrats to Geoff on a great season, league and Libertadores winners is no mean feat, Santos were just too strong this year. Glad Fluminense could pick up a cup win, hopefully the start of more trophies to come.
Corinthians were not far behind either, will be a very interesting season next year.

Delighted with Nantes' progress this year, more improvement is the aim for next year although how can you improve on a domestic double. A stronger run in the Europa would be a good start I guess.
Pleased to see Brighton get promoted to the Football League, that was my aim initially when I took them over so delighted that Tom Grealish has taken them to the next level and is doing an outstanding job there.

Finally congrats to all the title winners, trophy winners and managers that managed to get promotion, nice reward for a long tough season.
Thanks too to Paul for the hard work that has gone into the game, especially this year with the transition to Windows 10. Fantastic creation and a pleasure to play.
All the best to all teams involved in playoffs and all other managers for next season.

My experience was hampered frustrated by poor TV reception, which meant that me and the grandson listened to more of the second half and extra time than we saw!!!! (Apparently the local transmitter is on lower power while repairs are underway....DURING THE WORLD CUP!!!!) Got home and downed half a bottle of whisky. Then off to North Shields this morning to wrap up second place in the Tyne Valley Trophy subbuteo league. So not all bad.
