| Daniel Sturridge joins Watford from Charlton in a big swap deal with Solanke, Sessegnon and Lookman and some cash going to Charlton. Rashford must be wondering what the future has in store for him now. |

| Emre Can joins Schalke for £60millions also from Charlton. Hard to see Can getting a game at Schalke though as several attitude one players already filling up the bench. |

Plenty of points still to play for yet but who can beat Anderlecht ? Genk certainly been getting the reiforcements to give it a go! Another week of bedding in the new blood and there should be a tactical change to mount a title challenge! |

very strange, the tables havent been updated, I'll check it out tomorrow. Just had a quick look and it appears that none of the results for the english reserve and russian reserve leagues were stored, including the match reports. So looks like I will have to rerun those two leagues. I'll do that tomorrow, thanks for the heads up Tom. It appears that the system ran out of memory again which has happened a few times since the conversion to Windows 10, looks like W10 only gives me 780mB to work in when really the system needs 2gB which is a bit of a problem, means I will have to reduce the memory footprint of running the games even further. More tinkering needed, I feel like the Tinkerman at the moment. |

| I need to apologise to the English and Russian club managers because I haven't had and wont get time over the weekend to rerun the missing reserve league results, but I will run them and send them out on Monday before I reset for game Two. Apologies for the delay. |

| While we are on the subject, not that important as no-one really cares about the reserve leagues it seems, but how am I losing to Ben's Plymouth (sorry Ben, no offence intended) when he is playing a formation whose focal point is the TM yet he has an apprentice playing there, and scoring?
Am I right in thinking that app players, fully trained can reach 12 skills? How are they having such a big impact on games?
Personally there is nothing more frustrating than losing to a team which has apprentice players in it, doesn't seem to make sense?
Also, I thought the point of having reserves was to put pressure on the first team players and make them perform better? It seems Wilshere, although having no competition for his position, still ran the show against me? |

| Competition for places helps to decide how hard a player trains, as well as affecting how well they play, so even though Wilshere may have had a good game this week he will not have trained very well and would not have got his Competition bonus for the match.
Also he is already on his max skills of 166 so the training effort wont have affected him this week cos he cant absorb any more training and wont affect him unless he doesnt play for some reason in which case he will lose skills and then be affected by competition.
According to the system he got 20 points for this weeks league game, not a lot for a target man I'd say, and 47 for the cup game which was better ( no compet used for cup games so no bonuses given which would have made him more effective ). |

| Apprentice players have 12 skills yes.
The problem at the moment with reserve and youth and schoolboy games is that the match AI is much simpler which makes them much more effective when played at TM or PM.
I will review this and try to get a better balance so non-first teams with apps are even less effective than they are now. |

I do also have Sterling and Mahrez who could play at TM so no idea if this affects it? |
