This week's game brings the new rejuvenated teams together for the first time this season.. Plymouth have enjoyed a stella start to there campaign this season. A swap to TIB has brought new found form under the guidance of Ben! Went toe to toe with Watford last week and came away with the draw away from home which is respectable however having taken the lead Ben might have fancied his chances at half time! Will they still have plenty to give this week? As for Fulham.. Wolves missing there star player in RVP due to injury made this a more easier game then expected will the lads take there eye of the prize or will they have kept enough in there tank? Will be a good game for the neutrals!
Wolves v Birmingham Likely Lineup;
Hennessey:GK,Doherty:RB,Dijks:LB,Fer:AM,Davies:CL,Stearman:CR,Sinclair:RW,Evans:DY,Wolfswinkel:CF,Van Persie:TM,Parra:LW
Krul:GK,Evans:CL,Wanyama:CC,Rojo:CR,Fellaini:AL,Blind:AR,Nani:RW,Herrera:DY,Payet:ST,Lacazette:CF,Young:LW
Well wolves will hope to put there previous performance behind them and hopefully bring star man back into the fold to give themselves a chance of taking anything from this game! A bit lack luster with Marvin Emnes up top instead of Van Persie.. There no I in team. As for Brum.. Well tinker tailor Richard couldn't resist to change tactic again, I've said it before but Brum seem to be capable of playing numerous formations and don't rely on just the one to get them the points was last week just a fluke ? Or has Rich found something that works in the ever evolving Premier league!
Soton v Villa Likely Lineup;
Robles:GK,Cedric:RB,Targett:LB,Tadic:AL,Muniesa:CL,Stephens:CR,Petrovic:AR,Rondon:ST,Rodriguez:S2,Duricic:TM,Cork:BW
Butland:GK,Walker:RB,Davies:LB,Dembele:DY,Savic:CL,Keane:CR,Rabiot:AM,Paulinho:DR,Bony:CF,Silva:TM,Chamberlain:BW
Soton seem to be trying to continue there campaign without the experience of Arteta and Vidic how will that affect them for the remainder or were they just rested last week? we shall certainly see. Similar story for both Villa and Soton last week overrun by Wingers the narrow game of FAS has always struggled if you can't keep the ball vs Wingers.. However the game of wingers seem's to be few and far between for world class wide players that stick to touch line rather then the modern Inside Forward who cuts inside for glory. As for Villa the master tactician will no doubt be disappointed not to have been able to nullify Aqulini and Tevez however this is a hard task for anyone.. No doubt he will have made his calculations and checked them once.. twice and 3rd time just to be sure.. another interesting game. Villa had a very strong start to last season will he start to kick on in the current one?
Liverpool v Man United Likely Lineup;
Gulacsi:GK,Fabio:LB,Schindler:CL,Coates:CR,Flanagan:RB,Huddlestone:AM,Aquilani:PM,Zaha:RW,Slimani:CF,Tevez:TM,Moses:LW
Szczesny:GK,Mendy:LB,Otamendi:CL,Williams:CR,Mclaughlin:RB,Sandro:AM,Albrighton:RW,Martial:ST,Janssen:CF,Dzemaili:PM,Boerrigter:LW
Well this should be a game of the season if the teams held the same grudge as the do in real life however you can't say the teams here mimic real life or that they have a star studded lineup however Liverpool probably edge this tie on the quality side.. but as we seen with Huddersfield sometimes it's not all about the quality.. Play for passion! Tevez will be leading the lineup against a former club of his. Where will Utd take inspiration form will Martial turn up this week ? Can Dzemaili pull the strings from the heart of midfield? You'd expect Utd to be dipping into the transfer market to bring some additional quality if results still elude them. Again showing the FAS tactic is inferior to wingers.. but still couldn't capitalise due to poor finishing in the final 3rd. Wingers Vs Wingers.. interesting.
Charlton v Chelsea Likely Lineup;
Ederson:GK,Danilo:RB,Cesar:LB,VanDijk:CR,Luiz:CL,Henderson:AM,Willian:DL,Lallana:DR,Coutinho:TM,Gabriel:ST,Firmino:S2
Siegrist:GK,Filipe:LB,Vlaar:CL,Lovren:CR,Wallace:RB,Anita:AM,Maria:DL,Falcao:ST,Afellay:TM,Remy:S2,Anderson:DR
Charlton just haven't managed to get there fluid game together this season.. managed to gain another point last week however Tom will never be happy with just a point! With the teamsheet Tom can produce he will be looking to take all 3 points! Will he eventually change formation or will he just continue to stick with the faith in the players. We've heard it a lot lately... that the manager ultimately bares responsibility for his players.. As for Chelsea they gave it a shot vs the champions however came up just a little short last week which is respectful however in the game of hemsoft respect doesn't give points and will look to put in another shift to try and keep there momentum going.
Man City v Watford Likely Lineup;
Hart:GK,Cresswell:LB,Rudiger:CL,Smalling:CR,Richards:RB,Sane:DL,Drinkwater:DY,Dzeko:CF,Carroll:ST,Aguero:S2,Gundogan:DR
Lloris:GK,Clyne:RB,Rose:LB,Stones:CR,Kompany:CL,Dier:AM,De Bruyne:RH,Pogba:DY,Eriksen:TM,Kane:CF,Bale:LH
This is the main game of the week.. Could this game here decide where the title is going so early on in the season!? Both teams have been struggling to produce the form they showed last season. City being the more clinical and managing to grind out the results they need to when it matters and Watford just using there sheer class to win games even from losing positions. However will city make the home Advantage count? As for Watford Jamie has decided to focus his attentions solely on the premier league with Watford.. this makes them even more dangerous then usual. unpredictability...
