This week sees the first Manchester Derby of the season with the Champions Man City hosting newly promoted Man United in what should be a fascinating game, both sides fresh from cup victories both sets of players should be on form and rearing to go, looking forward to watching that one unfold. 

There are a few other very interesting games this week as well like Schalke's visit to Dresden and Real Madrid's visit to Sevilla, to name but two, looking forward to those clashes too. Brazil is always worth watching and the tough games just keep coming in that league as Champions Fluminense have to visit Sao Paulo, Flamengo take on Vasco and Botafogo host the much improved Cruzeiro, whilst my old club, Santos, have an easier game at promoted Novorizontino, who have struggled so far to make the step up. Victory for Fluminense could see them go top.

The race for the English Premiership is already hotting up, with just two clubs in the Championship that are unmanaged, it means nearly every game is crucial, and this week is no different, with West Brom at Newcastle, Leicester at home to Arsenal and my top game in the Championship this week Spurs against Palace in a London Derby with both sides hoping and well capable of reaching the Premiership.

A good start to the week with Spurs and Ruzomberok both winning. Let's see if it continues????
