| That's more like it boys!
Couple of wins, none conceded...
Still in with a shout of getting out of the CL group having already played both Inter and Plymouth away.
Tried desperately to avoid team changes this turn - although some were unavoidable.
Just need to slot in Walcott now... |

| Two big deals this week, both players leaving Schalke for pastures new and reality managed teams, Pato and Khedira. The other transfers will be detailed on the TP special action report. |

| Here's a question for you, I want the game to be a good balance of simulation and fun and my question to you guys is this,
Does losing a game in the dying minutes to a headed goal scored by the oppositions goal keeper from a corner take away more fun and enjoyment than it adds to the simulation.
Bear in mind the GKUP option has been in the game for several years now and this is the first time the GK has actually scored in a big match. GKs don't have heading or shooting skills so the system applies the basic 15% chance to hit the target for GKs.
Maybe this is one of those mechanics that is a step too far ? I'd be interested in your thoughts. |

I guess it depends who you are asking, if its me then yes it takes a lot away from a great result to another heartbreaking loss. If you are asking Phil then he will be all for it I guess. What is hard to take for me, despite the fact the keeper has a 15% of hitting the target, then the keeper missing it, is what is he doing up there in the first place? Although Phil is at home, it is to another title rival and 3-3 isn't the worst score in the world. If he was losing then fair enough he has nothing to lose, but to risk getting caught for less than 15% chance of scoring? I would be having kittens if my keeper was doing that at 3-3. I think that is the most un-realisitic thing, not the keeper actually going up as it does happen in real life, more in cup comps than league games though. Think I've pissed someone off big time along the way, maybe it was payback for all the reading this week. |

| It gets worse, it wasn't actually a corner that led to the goal :
snatches at his shot that nearly hits the corner flag. "Some fans seem to be enjoying that", "But MIGNOLET is not too happy with his defence" "And the ref has given a corner, can you believe it", "I believe anything me".
Well I cant believe it, seriously????? |

| I'm confident that it will level out over the season, I'll scrape through my Champions Cup group as unlikely as it is, get to the final and the ball will hit the bar in added time and rebound in off the backside of Raphael Varane.
Get your money on it now.... |

| I could change it to be losing or drawing at home and only if losing away from home or I could turn it into a 2 byte field and we could use the existing conditions.
1=losing home or away 71=losing at home 81=losing away 4=drawing or losing home or away 74=drawing or losing at home 84 drawing or losing away from home |

| The more choices the better really.
I'd want the choice to send the GK up if I'm playing (say) the final group game in CL and I must win to progress. If I'm playing away from home and drawing at the time - the option to send up the GK is a logical one, but not possible if you're using a 1 byte field...
Must admit, I didn't know you could do this with the GK - where do we input this on the turnsheet? |

I guess if you are on the receiving end of it then not very pallatable but it does happen and if that is the first time it happens then I would have thought percentage wise it's about right and it was going to happen to someone sometime. On the other hand....Tom,....why on earth was the goalkeeper given a free header in the box? lol. |
