the super electric storm we had here in Stithians last night seems to have corrupted some of the super cup results files, so it'll take me a few hours to untangle the rest of the results, I was running the super cup games when the storm struck. So I'll get back to this later.

Well a terrible result first up for Plymouth, shouldn't have gone away before the 1st turn. Need to get back to it next turn though...

Spurs bid for Bentaleb and he is on a permanent contract with Spurs in real life (on loan at Schalke). That should be a priority 2 transfer surely? Or have I misread the rules? It wouldn't be the first time lol.

and there was me thinking you had to remove a player from the transfer list before you could make a private deal.

I bid for Bentaleb too and obviously missed out. I like the system though. It gives some power to the seller as it means they can list a player for the minimum they'll accept but also let's everyone know the player is available. Not all of us are on the forum so it's harder to communicate so listing on there isn't always enough.

My first week in the game Cambiasso and Maxi Rodriguez were both listed and I missed out on both. I was gutted as my Inter team were languishing in Serie B with only a very old Juan Veron to rely on. It certainly made me a lot more proactive going forward. As I say though, I like the open market.

Yeah, I can see what you mean Rob. Looks like I'll have to be more proactive myself in future. Lesson learnt.

I was after Benteleb (and N'Jie) as the Spurs team I took over had just one real life first teamer...and even he is now a WBA player! I'll just have to keep trying and hope that some of my youth players make it. Cheers.

I went for Bentaleb and I was pondering N'Jie. I'm really short up front and in reserve midfield at Villa.
