CR Current Rating

So, I have two players who are pretty much identical in every way (PT97, TS 106 etc), except for one being a CR97 and one being a CR92.
Does anyone know how will this affect their performance in the game?

Hmmm, not sure how that affects in-game performance - but I think that the 9792 will not be able to attain his full TS potential, whereas the 9797 will. 

I guess that means the players will play the game with a differing number of skills - affecting performance?

There are probably a load of other factors (knowing Paul), that would affect things on and off the pitch - seeing as there is a difference between CR97 and CR92?
